This wat was just stunningly beautiful; it seemed to float diaphanously above the mortal world. There were even monkeys present and these primates could liven up proceedings.

Visited with some local friends and had a great time. Manicured gardens and peaceful ponds. The highlight for me was a walk on the Pha Yiap Trekking Trail (check out my YouTube video) which was, educational, as well as entertaining, - complete with dinosaurs, story boards and even a museum. Well worth checking out, if one is in Udon Thani ...I'll be back.
