We enjoyed a great ride with our 8 year old through the forest. The guide, taught our daughter all about horses. We all had a blast and really appreciated the guide taking the time to entertain our daughter in addition to how well run the stables are.

We camped in our trailer 3 nights on this beautiful property, and took a guided tour of the farming operations. The land is beautiful and we enjoyed walking around and watching the animals. The livestock is very well cared for, and the property had wildflowers blooming everywhere.

We love the MTB trails at Jackrabbit. They are fast and flowing, and fun for every skill level. The Campground is very nice, and perfect for a weekend stay to take full advantage of the trails. It’s only minutes from Hiawassee, and some very good restaurants.

Great place for a hike to see the dam, Also has a picnic area and a playground for the kids. Facilities are also available.

Old Jail Museum

The old jail which houses the museum was built back in 1912. The museum includes a Cherokee exhibit, an old time kitchen, Dr. Killian's 1940's era Doctor's office,feed sack exhibit, old jail cells and as of 2017 a Clay County African American exhibit plus a seasonal art exhibit.
