This place will prove the line "in the beginning there was no Philippines but there was Butuan. You will see the old artifacts that was used before as there way of living, the beautiful plates and utensils which was traded from china was discovered. The most was the balangay boat that was used as their vessel on the trading activities.

This museum is the repository of historical and cultural materials and artifacts that proves Butuan’s prehistoric existence and rich cultural heritage. There are two exhibit galleries. Great Mall, lots of shops and a good movie theater. in fact multi theaters. Went to see Midway and the theater was clean and the staff very helpful.
