We are a PADI 5 STAR Dive Center specializing in private and personalized diving. We are proud to offer adventures within the Caribbean Ocean and also Technical diving in the Yucatan’s Cenotes and Caverns. The Center offers special packages for private groups of friends, University educational seminars and those who wish to be educateed themselves, in the exciting world of PADI diving. You may request a personal, private diving experience, where you will be provided a guide within your chosen language. All of our instructors are DAN (Diving Emergency Specialist) certified, to ensure your safety, at ALL times. We are also a direct affiliate with the Playa del Carmen Hyperbaric Chamber, ensuring that you are always in good hands. Under the Jungle specializes in cavern and cave diving only. Owned and operated by enthusiastic cave explorers, we offer cenote tours and training for experienced divers only. All tours are private, and these services are geared towards highly experienced divers with a technical diving background/mindset, who are geninually interested in learning about the cavern environment. The caverns and cave are an advanced diving environment, and in our opinion require a significant level of skill to dive safely and enjoyably. As such, we demand more than the industry standards of both our divers and guides. We require that our divers have the minimum skill level to enroll in a cavern course (even for simple cenote tours) -- at least 25 logged dives, solid buoyancy control, and have dived in the last 6 months. We require that our guides hold a minimum certification level of cavern instructor (ie; someone who has actually been trained to teach people to dive in the caverns).
