I just visited Vera and her winery again. This was my SECOND visit. I loved it so much two years ago, I came back to Serbia and needed to visit with Vera again. My amazing Serbian guide Ana Simic and her fantastic husband Alex took us and Vera welcomed us like family to her establishment. All of the wines were wonderful as expected as we were able to enjoy Vera's company. Many thanks Vera. To all - this is something in Serbia not to miss. It's an amazing country with incredible people, and time at Vera's says it all about the beautiful experience.

My husband and I went to the Cave for lunch with some friends on a Viking cruise. To get to the restaurant we had to go through the cave which was dark, wet, and narrow but the end result was amazing. No lights just candlelight and we had a different wine with each course of food. The owner did an explanation about each wine and what food went best with it. It was an amazing way to have a lunch.

After a quick and interesting tour of the wine production facility and the cellars, we sat down to enjoy delicious food and taste the great wines produced by the Jovic family while a live band played traditional Serbian music. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to discover Serbian wine/food/hospitality. Ideal for a group trip.
