This was the best way we could have started our holiday. Fresh air, a little light exercise (those e-bikes really help on the hills!) beautiful scenery and interesting history and anecdotes from our Maori guide. She was exceptional; highly educated, very lucid, great sense of humour and a strong connection to her Maori roots. We had a wonderful day.

We had an absolutely fabulous day out on the water with Gabrielle and Bruce. The boat is gorgeous, with lots of room to move around and relax, the food was amazing, and our hosts took really good care of us. Our trip was to watch the America's Cup with a group of friends, and we swam, ate, had a good old singalong and watched the racing... it could not have been a more perfect day. We'll definitely be booking again.

We went on the wine/fishing trip which was excellent. Sonia was an amazing guide who ensured we had a timely and easy transition all day. Visited lovely wineries and tasted amazing wines. It was a good pace and Sonia got us to the fishing boat by 2.00pm. Staff on the boat were patient and helpful as many of us were inexperienced at fishing. Caught a few fish but most were undersize! Overall, a full but awesome day!

I had the best day on Waiheke Island seeing places I would of not ever known about...the tour was amazing as it was based on my preferences and If you go even as a small group I fully recommend booking with magic carpet. I went over for the day from Auckland CBD and Neville took me on a customised private tour that included a couple of beach stops, a couple of wineries an art gallery even the market. He is very knowledgable and I got to learn a lot about the island and explore, I'm so glad to have had this tour round the island. I will be recommending neville and magic carpet to friends and family or nayone doing a dya on Waiheke, it really was the best way to get around and with plenty of photo stops too. Perfect day out for any aucklandlers wanting to get away from city life for the day too.
