Ryan is a wonderful host! He is super knowledgeable about wine as well as the locations he took me. He's a great conversationalist and did an excellent job with providing an amazing wine tasting experience! So far, I have had two wine tasting experiences with Ryan and am hoping I can do one more before I leave Uruguay. If you like adventure and going a little off the beaten path, Ryan is your guy.

My family and I had such a wonderful day visiting two wineries outside of Montevideo. Our guide, Erin, welcomed us at the cruise ship port and guided us through a day of wine tasting. We learned so much about the wine making process and enjoyed a variety of excellent wines. The day was certainly a highlight of our vacation!

I live in Montevideo and wanted to learn more about the Uruguay wine scene. I tried out Wine Explorers and found Victoria and Tavis to be excellent guides and very communicative. They are very organized and do the tours in both English and Spanish. The bodegas we have visited have all been rockstar wines and a unique and wonderful experience for someone new to the wine scene and for a seasoned connoisseur. I highly recommend going on these tours.

Our guide was never short of information and details. Fun trip and lots of history learned. We found this tour was great to start with as it set the rest of our tours up for a full picture of the region.
Our winery was born as a family business, stimulated by our love of the countryside and its products. We have always believed that working on smaller scales produces better outcomes and we take great care in applying this to every stage of the winemaking process, from the vineyard to the glass of wine. This in turn is how we reflect our personality in our wines. Transportation Hotels to Winery Juanico visit by the winery with guide, tasting of 04 wines accompanied by snacks like local cheese, bread, and cured meats, unch at your choice, Does not include drinks for lunch. The tour was very good and picked us up at our hotel. We then listened to our guide who explained the itinerary and a bit of history. Our first stop was Piriapolis which was charming. We went to the top of the Cero for a great view and photo opportunity. The tour takes you to the Casapueblo which is an amazing tribute to the famous artist - Carlos Paez Vilaro. It looks like Santorini on steroids. We then went through the back streets of Punta del Este and our guide explained why it's the home of the "rich and famous." We stopped near Play Brava and had some free time to photograph and get a snack. It's a long tour but it's worth it.
