We stopped at this arcade on our impromptu trip to TN from WV... Samantha & Tori we’re constantly cleaning & helping customers! I was impressed from the start! The bathrooms were TOP notch! Smelled and looked so clean! They were extremely nice, helpful and so calm with my overly excited children who couldn’t pick out their prizes. Tori heard us talking about how we drove straight there to have a little fun & planned on heading straight back home. They offered to take our picture to display on the big screen! It was a lot of fun, with an amazing atmosphere. Big Top Arcade was the highlight of our little trip. We are definitely coming back!

Dollywood's Splash Country Water Adventure Park

From the excitement of giant water slides to the serenity of a poolside retreat, Dollywood’s Splash Country offers 35 acres of summertime fun for all ages. Adjacent to Dollywood theme park, Dollywood’s Splash Country Water Adventure Park is situated in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Named by The Travel Channel as one of the country’s best waterparks, it features a variety of water slides and attractions—from mild to wild—including TailSpin Racer, a six-lane mat-racer slide; RiverRush, Tennessee’s first and only water coaster; The Cascades™, an 8,000-sq.-ft. lagoon-style leisure pool; Fire Tower Falls™, the state’s tallest twin speed slides; Bear Mountain Fire Tower™, a multi-level interactive water adventure; Mountain Waves, a 25,000-sq.-ft. wave pool; and the Downbound Float Trip, a relaxing lazy river as well as interactive children’s play areas. The waterpark operates mid-May to Labor Day. Operating days and hours vary; visit Dollywood.com for more information.

This is a great water park. The country theming is superbly done. There are plenty of slides and an exhilarating water coaster. The wave pool and lazy river are fun ways to relax without having to be on your feet. The food lines were outrageously long. That, I would say, was the worst part of the day. It's as if they were not prepared to handle the number of people in the park. We traveled in mid- August, so perhaps that was a time when their season was coming to a close and they didn't have a full staff on hand. Compared to Disney Parks prices, this was an EXCELLENT value for a family friendly day. I want to go back to Pigeon Forge just to visit Dollywood and Splash Country. There is a $13 parking fee, so be prepared to pay that. I highly recommend a visit to Splash Country if you are in Pigeon Forge during hot weather months.
