The 10 Best Water & Amusement Parks in Bali, Indonesia

October 27, 2021 Jeremy Dunfee

Bali is a living postcard, an Indonesian paradise that feels like a fantasy. Soak up the sun on a stretch of fine white sand, or commune with the tropical creatures as you dive along coral ridges or the colorful wreck of a WWII war ship. On shore, the lush jungle shelters stone temples and mischievous monkeys. The “artistic capital” of Ubud is the perfect place to see a cultural dance performance, take a batik or silver-smithing workshop, or invigorate your mind and body in a yoga class.

After reading the reviews at Tripadvisor, didn't have great expectations about Bali Safari and Marine Park, but i was pleasantly surprised after my visit there. Had one of the best days of our Bali Trip at this park. With animal shows running through out the day, Bali Safari tour where we saw wide range of animals from very close by, ample places to have meals or quick snacks, petting zoo and so on...we thoroughly enjoyed our day. The park is very well managed and organized, very clean, many information centers. Kids enjoyed a lot and so did we. A must visit place when in Bali.

I stumbled upon this by accident when i passed by the Avenue at Canggu. It was such a joy to be able to swim in a real 50 meter pool , not heavily chlorinated, clean, and peaceful. I went during the morning and luckily there were no scenes like in the picture advertisements. There are no lane dividers and so if people decide to swim every which way, it would be problematic for those who want to swim laps. Luckily the pool is around 2 meters deep, so not ideal for kids who mainly want to splash around. It is 40,000 rupiah for one entry. The changing rooms don't look very clean, i wouldn't want to change there. Overall a great find in the middle of Canggu.

Krisna Funtastic Land

This place is more a fairground than a theme park. It is part of the Krishna complex which includes a water park and shopping complex. It opens in the evening only and is all lit up. It cost RP85k (AUD$8.50) for a wrist band which entitles you to 2 rides on each of the smaller attractions and 1 ride on the bigger rides such as big wheel. You can also pay RP10k ($1) entry fee and then purchase individual ride tickets which are priced between RP10k and RP15k. The park is cashless so you need to credit a card which you use to buy food a drinks which are also inexpensive. The bumper cars were a highlight!! It is great value for western travelers and a must if you’re visiting Lovina. There is a free shuttle bus to get you there just ask your accommodation to ring them. Highly recommend
