Just spent what I am rating as the most relaxing hour of my life having the Volcanic Ash Scrub and Wrap treatment. Not only is Valentine really lovely but her gentle massage technique for applying the scrub us heavenly. My skin feels amazing, so fresh. Do yourself a favour and try it.

We live in Vanuatu, but not on Efate. We were in Port Vila on business, but we were looking for a family outing on Saturday. My wife called Eden on the river and arranged transport from our hotel and back for quite a reasonable fee. We had Eden to ourselves, except for staff, friendly dogs, sheep and other critters. Our eight year old daughter was so excited before we got there that I was afraid that reality would be a letdown. It was not. Everything exceeded our expectations. The playground was a really high quality construction of wood, tires and ropes. Our daughter was delighted with the farm animals in the park. The cafe was closed so we brought sandwiches with us to eat in one of the picnic shelters. Then we went to the river. Our daughter had so much fun swinging, splashing, swimming and chasing prawns that she wore herself out, and me too. I am looking forward to coming back some time to explore more of the underwater nooks and crannies in the sparkling clear river.

Also have the chance to do some nature walk and educate yourself on some leaves and plants we, locals use for remedies. Discover the hidden cascades of the people of Mangaliliu. There’s nothing better then a taste of paradise.

We had a wonderful half day trip with Stanley as our driver and guide. We visited the blue agoon, cascades and turtle sanctuary with lunch. Stanley’s relaxed nature and friendly personality made the day really great. He allowed us as much time as we wanted in each place and pointed out all the interesting sites during our drives. He was a great guide. We would recommend this trip
