Green Country absolutely MADE our vacation! Keilor and his team provided transportation from LIR to our rental home, to dinners, beach trips, excursions, and made himself available during our entire week stay. He is a transportation + tour guide all in one! He's incredibly professional, his shuttle vans are very clean, nice, new and met our needs in every way. It was so easy to communicate and he seemed to anticipate our needs at all times. Even when we had some downtime, he took me to his fishing hole and shared his own tackle. This was our group's first visit to Costa Rica and Green Country made us feel welcome- so much, we cannot wait to go back!

We will drive through back roads, sugar cane fields, local towns, see the locals digging up the sand used for the concrete… An unforgettable cultural experience. Next stop we will visit an elderly “Casona" a beautiful old house that belonged to 3 former presidents of Costa Rica… This venerable construction will tell the story of the Guanacaste cowboys or "sabaneros" who lived way before cars, cell phones or internet by the midst of the 1800s in a faraway era of colonial Costa Rica. We will then get in a covered motor boat through the Tempisque River and will cruise Palo Verde National Park looking for wildlife such as monkeys, crocodiles, iguanas, all kind of exotic birds, bats. Enjoy of some of our most precious traditions such as the “oxoperated sugar mill” (trapiche) where they grind the cane with oxen. Freshly cane juice will be offered to you to taste.

Highly recommend! Super nice catamaran; spotless. The area we went snorkeling was very good and the beach was very secluded and pristine. Lunch and drinks were good too! The crew is very friendly and accommodating. I befriended Jonathan and wanted to keep in touch but lost his WhatsApp :( If you see him, tell him to WhatsApp Pamela, lol! By the way I felt entirely safe the whole time being in the midst of a pandemic.

My family had a Fun at Ocean tour with Go South and it was an EPIC day! We used the company years ago to surf Witches Rock and because that was a great trip we booked with them again. One hour into the trip my 5 year old said, "this is the best day ever". Wilbur and Jonathan were the best guides, knowledgeable and accommodating. They brought us to caves, private beaches, snorkeling, tubing, fishing. My kids saw Eagle Rays, held Puffer fish and swam with a Sea Turtle. We caught Tuna and enjoyed our catch as a snack minutes later. We saw dolphins and a Humpback from afar. We rode over and they never surfaced again, but as we sat quietly waiting, we heard a mother Humpback and baby calf communicating and it was an amazing sound! This trip was AMAZING and we will definitely book again. Pura Vida!

Nice trip on the Sea Bird to a beautiful beach accessible only from the water. The sand was the nicest of any beach we visited in Costa Rica. The boat had a mechanical issue the day we were originally scheduled. The owner was apologetic and called us the day before, when it became apparent they would not be able to sail on our scheduled day. We rescheduled to a day later in the week. The staff on the boat were friendly and helpful. We had all snorkeled before. They guided us on how to enter the water safely from the boat and we got right to snorkeling. Unfortunately due to heavy rain in the days before the water was fairly murky. We were able to see some fish. The teenage kids snorkeled for a while, but turned to playing on the beach. The beach had wonderful sand and we saw a cool cave where water from the other side of a small peninsula caused thunderous booms to come out. On the cruise back there were more drinks and refreshments. The crew hoisted the sails. It was a pleasant, quiet ride both ways which was great for seeing the views. The only negative is minor. A couple of our party had trouble with the masks. I could not get a good seal and water trickled in to my mask forcing me to drain it every few minutes. One of my teens had a similar problem, he couldn't get a good fit. The mask was either unpleasantly tight or leaky. We ended up wishing we had brought our own masks.
