We are on holidays in Avani Bentota and met Shiran on exit to ocean. Friendly man which knows a lot about Sri Lanka. We had interest in ocean's tours and he suggested us to visit whales tour. At 4am friendly driver picked up us from reception and delivered to Mirissa's harbor (he made the ride well, interesting told about a place where we go). Within 6 hrs trip on boat (good boat and staff) we wasn't able to see whales (didn't find them) and get back to the harbor. Just one negative moment: Boat provider refund a half of tickets price, because we didn't find whales (their terms and conditions) and driver got these moneys and told to speak with Shiran. "Friendly Shiran" said "it's a business" and paid back only 1/3 of refund. ????♂️

During our 4th stay in Sri Lanka in feb/march 2020, we had the pleasure of of taking part in the Services offered by Dimitours. At first we couldn´t really believe the positiv comments available online but now we´re completly convinced. We had a lot of fun. The tours are comfy, well planned and put in Action. No hassle, no stress. We had a driver as well as a guide, explaining everything in german. Both of them we´re friendly, likeable and easygoing guys. Being able to take part in the decisions, for example: where to rest, eat something or take a detour, is a big plus for us. We like it so much, that we booked a few tours at once. The land, the people, nature, history, sights, the real life - this land has it all. During These tours we stayed in really great hotels aswell. We chose Sri Lanka to spend our vacation and it was indeed a good choice thanks to Lashan. He was very friendly and took us to all the places we wanted to travel. Actually he has a really good knowledge of beautiful places in Sri Lanka. We were able to communicate with him well too. Galle, 119km from Colombo, is a major city situated at the tip of the South Western coast of Sri Lanka. Being a coastal area, it is quite hot and humid but has an abundance of beautiful beaches in every town that you pass while travelling from Colombo to Galle. The Galle Fort was built by the Portuguese, fortified later by the Dutch and is well preserved till today. In addition to the Portuguese and Dutch remains, you will also find many British mansions left behind. As for beaches, the Unawatuna Bay probably tops it all and is safe for snorkelling and swimming because a reef protects it. There you have it, a day tour of the city of Galle in a nutshell.

This is more of a response to the Covid-19 event and the lack of being able to contact this company and to receive a refund for a prepaid custom tour. We booked and paid for our tour in February 2020. When our cruise was cancelled because of Covid-19 we requested a refund in May 2020. We received no response to this request. The next time we received an email from them was to rate the tour that we would have taken in October 2020. In trying to contact them now we receive a bounce back to the emails that we send them. Covid-19 did not shut down the internet so contact should have been made to let us know the situation of their business.

Our tour started with the pick up from our hotel at Galle fort. Roshan was so friendly and extremely informative. Had a wonderful day with new friends, enjoying the scenery and hiking the Rainforest. This should be in everyone's list when visiting Sri Lanka. Loved the added bonus of Tea factory visit. Guide Wigitha made the day amazing. Although no rain in the rainforest ,this day made the hike a bit less slippery, the flora, fauna and the waterfall -- all made a lovely day. One of our Dreams was to swim under the waterfall, and we got a chance to do it here. Transportation was comfortable and efficient, and the lunch was delicious. Would highly recommend this tour and also this tour company.
