The 10 Best Things to do in Zone 4, Lombardy

March 26, 2022 Malia Yoakum

One of the world’s fashion capitals, Milan offers endless opportunities for chic shopping. Hit the artsy neighborhood of Brera for leather goods and Via Monte Napoleone for exclusive, expensive boutiques. The enchanting mosaics and glass vaults of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II make shoppers feel like they’re wandering inside a painting. Take break from your spree to gape at the iconic Duomo, then grab tickets to a performance at La Scala. Post-opera, the Navigli district pulses with late-night activity.

Dep Art Gallery

Dep Art Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art was established in 2006 by Antonio Addamiano, who got graduated in business management and marketing at Cattolica University in Milan. Matching his passion for Art with his knowledge of Economics, he managed to create a new conception of Gallery. Beside the traditional channels of the art market, Dep Art Gallery employs the new media, that in a few years enabled it to reach exhibitions centres (public and private) and collectors from all over the world. The Gallery attends some of the most important national and international Art Fairs (MiArt, Art First Bologna, PAN) and mainly deals with the work of historicized artists. The gallery is constantly expanding and from September 2015 will move to a new venue in the heart of Milan. This new place is an elegant and refined 260 mq space, distributed on two levels, and structured to meet the needs of the important artists represented by Dep Art. In 2015, Dep Art Gallery also started archiving the artworks by Turi Simeti, whose Catalogue Raisonne will be published before the end of 2016, under the attendance of Antonio Addamiano and Federico Sardella.

Teatro Franco Parenti

A muffled atmosphere surrounds us from the entrance. There is a deep silence that fills the halls before the start of the shows, and every night when the lights go out and raise the curtain, you enter another world and the magic of theater is taking shape. About thirty years ago was living in Milan, between Porta Romana and Via Lazzaro Papi, can not have forgotten the transformation of an old cinema in 1930, half hidden among the blocks of a street, the Via Pier Lombardo, in a theater or perhaps a dream ...
