Great displays and historical points. Really brings home injustices to our country's native traditions.

Two Mountain Winery

Two Mountain Winery invites you to experience our award-winning, estate grown wines in the comfort of our tasting room/ barrel room. We are serious about growing grapes, making wine, and enjoying the experience that is Washington Wine. From our family to yours...welcome!

We were attracted to this winery because it is open to six. Turns out they grow more grapes that damn near everyone else. Owned by third generation brothers, we were given an erudite analysis of farming by the finance major farmer half of ownership. Building is elegant and classy. We bought two bottles of the 2012 Brothers Reserve at $62 each. It was so delicious my wife and I finished every drop.

The teapot Dome Gas Station

Reviewed By A TripAdvisor Member - Seattle, Washington

The teapot attraction continues to elude us, even after listening to two podcasts on the subject. Suffice it to say, the cute former gas station was erected as a symbol/memorial of a government corruption scandal. There are restrooms here, apparently it's a visitor center when open, and a quick selfie photo op should not be missed.

Toppenish Murals

Reviewed By abearfellow

There are three reasons you want to stop by for an hour and look at Toppenish. First, the town has done a great job of finding a neat niche tourist treat. murals everywhere, some just artistic but some depicting the history of the area. they are on commercial buildings, city buildings, and on pretty much every empty space available. then there is the little museum/visitor center. it's worth a few minutes to look at the small replicas of the outside murals and the ladies who greeted us were wonderful. then there is the Fred Oldfield museum ( a room actually) devoted to one of the best old school western painters. Fred lived in Toppenish when he was young before moving to seattle and the west side (he has a cultural center in tacoma - although he, alas, died recently). The little gallery has about 30 of his works and the nice people in the office will direct you to some of his contributions on the various murals in town.

Northern Pacific Railway Museum

This museum has unique and different displays of historic railroad memorabilia. They offer an inside display and an outdoors display area. The station has recently been refurbished and is a terrific example of an early station. The outside display features rolling stock and locomotives. We also were able to gain access to the workshop where a locomotive is in the process of being refurbished. Excellent for railroad buffs and anyone interested in historic places.

Not only is Cultura putting out excellent wine, I recommend the Merlot, the tasting room is a way cool place to relax and enjoy their wine.
The outside courtyard is nice and quiet with excellent views.
Tad is super cool, and knows his wines. He'll take the time to educate you on wine without making you feel inferior. He also makes great food recommendations with their wines, even if you are a vegetarian. It's common to go with beef dishes with big reds, but when Tad found out we were vegetarians, he had some great meal ideas without even missing a beat.
Cultura is a must stop for us in Zillah, a required stop.

Silver Lake Winery

This is a great place to go to see the wine country and taste some nice locally produced wines. During our visit there was a live entertainer who played upbeat music, but at a discreet volume level. Since this winery is located relatively high up the valley wall, the vistas are gorgeous, and the layout of the guest reception building take full advantage of this fact. It's worth a visit, even if you're not interested in tasting the wines!

A catering service provided some simple Mexican cuisine for people who wanted to eat.

We stayed 10/6/17- 10/7/17 Parking lot is huge and long walk for older folks, we checked in and then moved are vehicle to Valet parking as instructed by the front desk reception employee once we moved into the valet parking a young lady approached and required me to hand over my keys, I asked why she said she would park my truck, but truck was already parked, she moved it anyway, I wasn't to happy to have someone driving my brand new truck, we had dinner at the buffet around 5:30 pm and there hardly was any food put out and what was there was cold and had been out for sometime, there was little sense of urgency to replenish dishes that are empty
because employees were to busy joking and laughing in the kitchen area, the photos on the website show a completely different cuisine, the coffee shop my wife ordered nochos and the employee gave her grief, shocking, what we experienced, is by know way fabricated in anyway. As someone has mentioned in the reviews prior to mine, some of the slots were broken, and still are, and the ticket redemming stations need to be made more visable, by maybe hanging a lite sign above them for all in that area to see, the room was very nice and clean with an exception to the damage on the wall done by others, by the coffee maker table, we were not informed of this issue and it left me wondering OMG did we do this, I didn't want to be paying for repairs we didn't cause. When we checked out on 10/7/17 the employee at the counter was great she said the damage was there prior to us, and also recognized me for being a Veteran and giving us a discount thank you. We walked over to the valet parking window and handed over the ticket we were given and employee rushed out the back door without saying anything I looked outside and noticed him running over to our vehicle he starts it and drives over towards us without even letting the oil move through the engine, new truck, FRUSTRATED, my wife gave the employee a tip why I don't know and we drove off to never go there again nor reccommend this place to others, I highly recommend your senior management take a trip to Kitsap county Clearwater casino and see what a real buffet and clean casino are all about, I will be shocked if this even gets posted.

Bonair Winery

Reviewed By JudgeSue - Henderson, Nevada

My husband and I visited the Yakima Valley for the first time with our three English Springer Spaniels. As we had our dogs with us, we sat outside enjoying our wine tastings in the beautiful garden. Not only were we pleasantly surprised by the quality of Bonair's wines, but they were such a great value, I bought a case. The 2012 Cabernet Franc was very good, especially given the price of $15 (not including case discount). We did enjoy the cheese plate, and even the company of the winery's dog, who jumped up in a chair at our table. We definitely will come back.
