20 RMB entrance fee for non local residents. Was here during CNY time, lots of firework/firecrackers (to scare off spirits but also scared my 9 month old son). It’s about 400 stair steps to the top (where the statue is). There were also other trails off into other areas that I didn’t follow.

This is one of the tourist spots in Wuzhou and is located near the town center. There are 3 to 4 streets in the area with this type of "qilou buildings" forming a small district. It is not a bad idea to go there and stay for 2 hours in the late evening. On the ground floor of the buildings are shops selling various sorts of things, mainly stuffs you would expect to see in shops around/near tourist spot.

a very nice temple with the tallest (38 m) sculpture of Dragon Mother.
I bet there r crowds of locals in holidays but when I I ve been there (16th of Aug) I was the only visitor.
ticket price: students, elder ppl, children 15 yuan, normal price 30 yuan
an incredibly calm atmosphere with guards felt asleep:)
beautiful city and river view.
b prepared to climb the stairs for abt 10 minutes to get to the square where that tallest statue is.
temple situated just next to culture corridor (which is not interestin unless u wanna have a walk nearby river)
and very close to arcade city - an old district with historical buildings

The highest peak, but not a difficult walk. There are several stopping points along the way. Round trip on the road at mid/relaxed pace will take about 3-4 hours (steps can cut down the distance if you choose). There are also shuttle busses that can take you 1 way for 12 rmb. 90% up there is a split in the path : the top goes to a multi level pagoda with 360 view, the other goes to very calm wooded area with a nice lookout.
