What a stunning view. On a good day you can clearly see the coast of England. Did you know that there are more than 500 ships going through the La Manche each day. Definitely go for the short hike, 1,5h amazing trail takes you through the forest and dunes all the way down to the beach. Hike is super easy, perhaps a bit more comfortable shoes are desired, but definitely not a must.

We enjoyed several hours walking along the promenade, then the beach itself, last Autumn. This is a good, proper, old-style beach with expansive stretches of sand and a shallow gradient. Perfect for watching the kite flyers!
