World AIDS Museum

Reviewed By curiosityseeker19

A pictorial museum for any one interested in medicine, HIV & AIDS, the 1980's to present history and culture, epidemics, or News events. It takes like 2 hours to read everything, but so worth it and so interesting. It's not just a local museum that it is made out to be but really a nation wide reporting as well as some international exhibit. A lot of reading with some pictures. I truly remember almost all of it having lived through this entire era, so it'll be very enlightening for the younger generations. It puts on a human face to the crisis. From theories to the virus origin, to prescription medications, it's very informative. It's free so remember to make a donation. I'm so glad I stopped to visit. Lovely neighborhood.

· I have been getting massages for years with a chronic bad back but never to a place like Chi Spa. They are amazing! From the time you make an appointment to the time you meet them at the front desk. Sharon and Bridgis will take care of you. They are very friendly and professional. You MUST ask for Linda. She is the best massage therapist in the world. Her hands and her knowledge are a gift from God! She is an angel. I called and asked if I could get a massage, last minute, on a Sunday night, of a holiday weekend after wrenching my back out and had trouble walking. Linda was in Palm Beach working a 12 hour day. She came to Chi Spa and worked her magic for over 2 hours. All done with a smile and a concern for my well being even after being exhausted from working all day. Her dedication to her profession goes above and beyond. Let her work on you and you will feel out of this world when she is done. I highly recommend Chi Spa! I have heard from other people that the other therapists are top notch too. I promise that you won't be sorry :)

Stonewall Gallery National Museum & Archives

Reviewed By SkyVan - Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom

As other reviewers have noted, this is a small collection and exhibition space, maintained - as I understand - by volunteers. The exhibit is well presented in a pleasant gallery space. When we visited, an exhibiiton on the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence was running, and certainly provided new insights, as well as raising a smile. For visitors like us from the other side of the Atlantic, it gives a new perspective on events in public life and popular culture. There's no charge, but there's an opportunity to make a donation to thie musum and its important work. The gallery won't take up too much of your time, but it really is worth a visit.
