We've been here during the summer and now the winter (for the Winter Illumination). Both times we've loved it. I was taken back by the cost to walk through a small part of the arboretum during the winter but after doing it, it was well worth the cost. The lights are beautiful. We went as a group and the adults and kids enjoyed it (even though it was close to 0 degrees). There are warming stations and fire pits along the way so you can warm up with a drink (adult drinks too) or by the fire.

This museum is located on the grounds of Cantigny Park the summer home of Robert McCormick who served with the First Division in WW I.
Outside the museum are several tanks from WW I to present.
A self guided tour takes you from the trenches of WW I to the rice paddies of Vietnam.
We spent too much time and were not able to visit the second half of the museum showing the present and future of the first division.

Such a fun experience and great value to visit the Tivoli. The price is half of the traditional theaters...as are the refreshments (and drinks and popcorn have free refills). The seats are comfortable, the screen is exceptionally large, and the venue itself has so much to admire and holds a lot of people. There is also an organ player if you go on Friday or Saturday nights. Hands down, our favorite movie theater!!

We went to Kline Creek Farm for their Country Fair day over the Labor Day holiday. We had a great time touring the grounds and participating in the "Fair" activities. This is a beautiful place to take family pictures too. Wonderful to support a historical gem and show your children a by gone era.

We accidentally stumbled upon this center while on a weekend trip. I am so glad that we did! This place is incredible! In the main welcome center, They showcase birds and reptiles that have been injured. There are placards on each cage with information on the injury and where the animal was located. Outside, there are several other cages with injured fox, owls, raccoons, vultures, bobcats, etc... I was amazed to see an American bald eagle. The enclosures were all impeccably clean and you can tell that these animals are loved. Behind the cages, there is a 1/2 mile trail that winds you around the perimeter and offers views that are breathtaking. You have to keep in mind that this is not a zoo. These animals are being rehabbed and some will never be able to go back into nature. I think the services offered at this facility are commendable. I will definitely be back again soon.

My wife and I decided to visit this place because it had some gardens to see and we hadn't been there in awhile. Also it was somewhere to go on a sunny day. The only problem was there was a lot of construction going on at the place, but it was still worth visiting. They have this 1st Division Museum on the property that was just recently opened and it was an interesting place to see. If you go there, you need to see the museum. We saw some humming birds and some beautiful gardens.

Great place for families with small children. Be prepared - it is very noisy and chaotic but with many, many hands-on activities. Very clean and well maintained with great staff. A nice afternoon activity.

An attractive small zoo perfect for all ages. Parking may be an issue on busy days. Free admission. A pleasant assortment of animals that will delight all. Animals are well cared for. There is also a gift shop. A comfortable spot for a two hour respite from life's rush.

My sister, her husband, my wife and I visited CluedIn on Sunday February 12, 2017. We had a GREAT time. Unlike my sister and her husband, my wife and I had never been to an escape room attraction before and personally, until 4 days before our visit, I had never even heard of an escape room. The premise of an escape room is for the participants to work together gathering and deciphering clues that lead to the solution of a problem, usually escaping from a room, within a one hour time limit.
The four of us arrived early and were greeted by the owner, bow tie wearing, Brian and his assistant. Then we were taken into the 'Asylum' room and given a back story to the premise of our task. I won't go into what we had to do but the four of us had to work together to get out of the room. It was a blast! We completed the exercise with 50 seconds to spare. The process was very linear in that one clue lead to another. The entire setup of the room, clue hiding and premise were very creative.
The business is located in a small strip mall right on Roosevelt Road and easy to get to. CluedIn was only nine weeks old when we we went and there was only one room. Brian said he was working on creating a second room soon, which is a good thing for repeat business. We look forward to 'escaping' again.
