A lovely walk, great even if you gave a disability like me. It is so peaceful and interesting, lots to see. The people i did meet were so friendly and added to the feel good factor.

12 of us spent last weekend at Hillside Cottage and Spa, part of the Three Daggers growing business. What a fabulous place. The ‘cottage’ is more of a large lodge style house, extremely tastefully done out with 6 large bedrooms, a big open fire and a lovely spacious kitchen diner. Outside, a few steps up the hillside garden, is a wonderful (and big) hot tub, sauna and steam room. Also a games room with a fire pit outside although it was a little cold for sitting outside. We spent a long time in the hot tub though! There are treatment rooms available if you want even more of a pamper and the pub and farm shop have great food choices, or you can self cater. I didn’t want to leave this wonderful house and will certainly be back as soon as possible. A very chilled out enjoyable weekend. Thank you to Jackie, a great hostess. We are a family owned and run card and gift shop. My mum started it up in 1998 and I took over in 2012 so she could semi-retire. We pride ourselves on our customer service and our huge range of cards and gifts. We have often been described as an 'Aladdins Cave'. In 2015 we had a Creation Express station installed. This means we can personalise gifts and cards in minutes while you wait!

Whenever I am traveling by train I get my tickets from the helpful staff here. They always give me the best price. There is a lift to the platforms which is great if you have a lot of bags. Cafe is a takeaway and very handy with ladies toilets nearby. There is even a postbox on the platform.
