West Melbourne is a city in Brevard County, Florida, United States. It was created in 1959 to stop the area from being annexed into the City of Melbourne. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 18,355, reflecting an increase of 8,531 from the 9,824 counted in the 2000 Census. In 1970, the city's population was approximately 3,050. Since 2000, the city has experienced the highest population growth percentage of any municipality in Brevard County. It is part of the Palm Bay–Melbourne–Titusville Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Initially I wouldn’t consider writing a review for a theater, what can you actually say? This past week I visited CW, as it is now known, and was very impressed with the upgrades in the lobby. The whole experience at the theater has been improved with the newly completed renovations. While when I went it wasn’t crowded, as I typically choose off peak hours to see non-blockbuster movies, the ease of service with many self serve options improves the service - for example, if you only want a soda, you don’t have to wait behind half a dozen people in the popcorn line to get it, just grab it and go to the check out. The layout is akin to a WaWa or convenience store feel. The theater interiors have been upgraded for some time, comfortable and roomy seats and the video and sound experience is comparable to all theaters. So if you’re choosing between the three theaters in Melbourne/192 area, the CW ranks 1st in my book. Oh yea, we saw Angel has Fallen, great action flick.
