In the winter we’re a traditional Dutch pub with a cozy atmosphere, in the summer our large terrace is opened for lunch, dinner and tapas. The terrace is located next to river the Vecht, with lots of boats coming by. We serve a variety of wines, over 30 craft beers and a fine cup of Lavazza coffee.

Lovely trip on a bike ( hired from Weesp station) nice to see a working windmill. I think it's only open Saturday. You will have to check. It's only a quick visit though ... Then cycle on .

It is surprising how many historical buildings can be found in a small town like Weesp and this nice museum is the former Town Hall and Tribunal dating back to 1776 . It houses a lot of artifacts from the 18th and 19th centuries and also some temporaries exhibitions . Last October was about chocolate and its relation to Weeps !

Holland, officially known as "The Kingdom of the Netherlands" has a very special attraction. It is called the Weesper Automaten Kabinet. It is a museum full of fully operational, antique coin operated machines (known in Dutch as "automaten"). It is located in the picturesque town of Weesp, just outside of Amsterdam. The machines are in working order and available to visitors to try them out, just for fun or to enjoy a bit of nostalgia of the days when a dime was still worth something.
