Lungo Mare

Reviewed By M46_aruba - Ljubljana, Slovenia

It's a 100 something old, from the times of the last austrian emperor, seafront walkway from Volosko to Lovran. It takes about 3 hours of high paced walk one way. Now in january is quite windy and the waves chrash below it, but it' not crowded like in summertime. Beautiful.

Trsat Castle

Trsat Castle represents a strategically embossed gazebo on a hill 138 meters above sea level that dominates Rijeka. As a parochial centre it was mentioned for the first time in 1288. Trsat Castle is one of the oldest fortifications on the Croatian Coast, where the characteristics of the early medieval town construction have been preserved. Today Trsat Castle, beside the Bazilisk souvenir shop and the Gradina coffee bar, is enriched with new facilities – gallery space where art Exhibitions are held as well as open-air summer Concerts and theatre Performances as well as fashion shows and Literary evenings. Within Trsat Castle, at the Petra Zrinskog b.b. Address, is the Trsat Castle Info Point where any information about this building and the town of Rijeka can be found.

Peperoncino was closed in February, but the owner invited us in for a drink. A very friendly guy, with an idea: to present best small production produce from the area. He has excellent olive oil, wines, beer from small Breweries, fig marmelade, truffles... I highly...MoreThank you so much for this lovely review! Hope to see you again!

Medevja Beach

Reviewed By Andy R - Cordoba, Spain

If you want a beach which is chilled and relaxed look no further. Whilst busy it does not feel it. Water is crystal clear and snorkeling is great. Plenty of water sports activities for those who want them. Hire a sunbed and umbrella for 2 people around euro 15 a day. Well worth it.
