The population of the municipality was approximately 36,717 (from the 2011 census), with the city of Torres Novas (seat of the municipality) has about 15,000 inhabitants in an area that econompasses 270 square kilometres (100 sq mi).

Visited this beautiful small town surrounded by Mountains and around an hour from the Portugal / Spain boundary.
In the centre of town was a thousand year old castle, a bit of a mess at the moment but the Portuguese government is paying for its restoration.
Moving through the town you will notice that a lot of the doors are tiny so it shows just how small the people must have been around a thousand years ago.

Trampolim is a friendly place to enjoy your friend's company and chill out. The music is really good and helps you to relax. I also saw they have a some burgers that look really tasty!

Para quem gosta de um local calmo para falar e beber um bom cocktail.
Num ambiente muito diferente estilo antigo muito bom com muitas coleções bem escolhidas.
Não é muito facil de encontrar entrada pequena e não muito visivel.
Gosto de fazer uma visita quando estou por esses lados ;-)

Интересный механизм, по сути, – фрагмент водяной мельницы, - огромное металлическое колесо, которое вращает течение реки. В Torres Novas есть и другое подобное сооружение на окраине города. Сооружение, по сути, очень интересное и, по сути, является памятником… Но, видимо, недооценено в этом качестве со стороны местной Camara Municipal
