Nice place to spend some hours
this is the first beach from south to north, to have rocks, the only one in RS
So, it is the best choices (actually the only one) for gauchos to see something different from sand and brown waves in their state

Ponte Pensil

Reviewed By Artur A

It´s called "ponte pensil" (a term for suspension bridge, in portuguese), although some write it wrong like "pencil" (I don´t know if they aren´t able to write in portuguese, english or either...).
Well, this is an amazing shaking bridge for people crossing. A good chance to laugh while you cross it and see people trying to balance while it swings.

Parque Da Guarita

The place is beautiful, fantastic for some hours walk
however it is amazing how people in south Brazil have no notion, no vision for tourism.
Maybe because 8 months per year the weather is to cold for beach, but on the remaining summer months tourists have to bear the miss care of parks, Beaches, restrooms and creepy 'restaurants"

The most beautiful beach in the southest state of Brazil. If you're coming from the south, Argentina or Uruguai, it'll be a must-see place. You could stop by for a couple of days or spend the whole summer there. Very friendly and beautiful people. But remember they have seasons there so go during summer the enjoy the trip the most!

Honestly I didn't like. I saw some sea lions, but no special place. it was nice to see the coast of the city. In the winter months can be found on this island: Penguins, Sea Lions, Sea Lions and several species of birds.
You can make a boat trip around the island but his arrival and spear fishing are not allowed anymore. R$ 30 per person.

Molhes Beach

Reviewed By Ivan S - Dongguan, China

It should be a place to witness the beauty of the encounter of the river and the sea.
also a place to seat quietly, take a gauchos chimarrao tea, watching fishermen.
However, like most rivers in the world, this became a waste disposal for the city and surrounding villages.
It is a pity, but men is destroying world beauties
