Termas del Dayman

Not sure what I expecting coming here but the spas were lovely. However it didn't feel very 'holistic' more just a bunch of outdoor pools. The water was very hot thought, and there was plenty of space to lie on the grass and catch the Sunshine. Got totally lost finding my way to the Spas via the bus, but coming back was pain free.

The plaza is not beautiful but has a craft fair everyday, called feria de artesania. During the week is not so nice but at the weekends is much better. One can buy silver jewelry and leather clothes and other stuff as a bargain. And a nice thing to do here is also talk to the people. They are so nice.

We really enjoyed Salto and the Casino was very comfortable. Super comfy beds and very clean rooms and bathrooms. We had a view over looking the plaza with a small balcony but I loved waking up to that view it was spectacular. The staff are very nice however musta up your spanish very very little English we got by with our un poco espanol.. Salto is a small town so this hotel was very central to walking around the main town. We only stayed a couple of days to bus through to the next destination. The breakfast buffet was spectacular and so much yummy food including scrabbled eggs etc etc.. Lovely restaurant staff as well.. We traveled on the shoulder season so it was very quiet. We enjoyed our comfortable stay at Casino Salto and we do not gamble so didn't go anywhere near the Casino .. We got a very good deal on Hotels.com so we wanted some rest.. Salude Gracias to the staff restaurant ladies and cleaners Lindsay y Matt Melbourne Australia

Museo del Hombre y la Tecnologia

A typical little town museum with no fluency or decent explanations plus a bunch of stuff that seems to have nothing to do with anything - Leonardo da Vinci?? Seems like it is geared to local schoolkids to throw a few facts their way
