We rode 3 mountain bike trails in NZ North Island over 4 days (Hauraki, Waikato River and Timber Trails). Blue Tui (Wilhelmina) performed above our expectations. Wilhelmina provided a great service (under promised, over delivered). Very friendly, helpful and punctual. We would not hesitate to recommend Blue Tui if you are keen to see some great NZ scenery. Scenery was fantastic but you need a reasonable level of fitness!!

We enjoyed visiting this lavender farm. The owners were really friendly and even gave us a quick tour/info session. There are also a wide range of high quality lavender based products on sale at a very reasonable price. We were pleasantly surprised that there was no entry fee. It was worth the 40 minute drive from Hamilton.

Going here is an experience I don’t think you’d get in any other movie theatre in NZ. Growing up in TA you get a bit blasé about what a great theatre this is. Going with someone who had never been there before gave me a new appreciation. There is so much movie nostalgia.... and of course the latest movies. Worth visiting

Te Awamutu Rose Gardens

Reviewed By Happiness41579948493 - Hamilton, New Zealand

This small park is 100% roses with a lovely fountain and when in bloom they are spectacular. It isn't quite as quiet and peaceful and private as it used to be as the town council (in all their wisdom??) decided to build a children's playground immediately next door. The noise level can be disturbing if you want solitude. I guess the idea was that adults could let the kids play while the oldies enjoyed the roses (but you can't appreciate the roses and keep your eye on kids at the same time). So if you enjoy peaceful, go when kids are in school.
