The Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield ( pronunciation (help·info)), more colloquially known as Sutton Coldfield or simply Sutton, is a town and civil parish in Birmingham, West Midlands, England. The town lies about 7 miles (10 km) northeast of Birmingham City Centre and borders Little Aston, North Warwickshire, Lichfield, Erdington and South Staffordshire. Its 2011 Census population was 95,107 – an increase of 6.7 % since the 2001 Census.

There are a number of entrances dotted around the perimeter of the park. Parking usually free, but charges apply in the spring and summer months after 11am.
Go in at town gate if you want to visit the donkey sanctuary.
Head towards the North of the park if you want to see the wild Exmoor ponies, who live in the north side of the railway track running through the middle of the park.
There are seven pools, a few restaurants, cafes, a bistro, a visitor centre (with toilet) and in the summer an ice cream van near the jamboree stone.
Cows roam freely in the summer months.
Visited by adults and children, dog walkers, cyclists and joggers.
We walk here every week and never tire of its natural beauty.

I had a lovely spa day here with my partner last month. We booked as part of a package for an overnight stay & the evening meal which was great value for the service we had. After a lovely freshly made breakfast, we arrived at the spa reception and we were given a warm welcome & a tour of the facilities. There were plenty of loungers to relax around the pool area. The sauna area was very relaxing & a good selection available. The treatments were great, I had the full body massage with more attention paid to my upper back, I also had my first facial at a spa which was lovely, a range of products were used & my skin felt so refreshed afterwards. We had a delicious healthy lunch and we were pleasantly surprised to find afternoon cakes and scones later on in the afternoon, very tasty. We had a lovely relaxing day & I thoroughly enjoyed the treatments and the service offered by everyone at Fairlawns. I would definitely recommend & look forward to a return visit very soon.

Walsall Leather Museum is a welcoming and friendly attraction housed in a restored Victorian factory building. We offer a fascinating insight into the story of Walsall's famous leatherworking trade. There are regular guided ours and demonstrations of leather crafts, and lively programme of events and activities throughout the year, including changing Exhibitions. Beautiful Gardens planted with traditional tanning trees and shrubs. The museum has an excellent shop specialising in Walsall-made leathergoods.

Easy to find-just off junction 10 of the M6 motorway. Pay and display car parking available just over the road. Entrance is free. There is a wealth of information available inside this quaint Victorian factory, on the leather trade in Walsall, describing the town's rise into an international saddle making centre.
There are exhibits of saddlery and leather goods as well as a workshop manned on the day we visited by Wendy and Paul, who between them have nearly 100 years of service in the leather industry-and nearly as many tales to tell! They really made our visit even more worthwhile.
You can make your own leather key ring and buy items that have been made in the workshop from the on site shop. Definitely worth a visit!

We were given this tour as a thank you from our Jaguar dealer, I would happily have paid!
My last factory visit was the Boeing factory, it was rushed commercialised and we left feeling processed. Jaguar could not be more opposite. A full three hour tour with a knowledgeable guide (Wayne), close up to the manufacturing. This facility is steeped in history, you actually feel like a guest. My wife is no car nut or engineer but loved the detail, robots and heritage. Proud to be British!

Had our UK Blessing here for family and friends who couldn't make the wedding in Jamaica. The venue is excellent and and is a covered barn with lots of character it holds around 110ish people. Tittesworth Water is situated near to Leek, on the edge of the spectacular Peak District National Park. Open all year round, we offer a broad range of activities for those who enjoy the outdoors. The site is open every day except Christmas Day. The opening hours of the visitor centre are: Apr - Sept 10am - 6pm. Feb, Mar, Oct, 10am -5pm. Nov, Dec, Jan 10am - 4pm.

We decided to do the long walk round the Reservoir today and to have lunch at the Visitor Centre first. What a lovely tasty meal! I had the salmon en croute from the specials board. It came with crushed potatoes, peas, roasted red peppers and a fabulous sauce. My husband chose the chicken & chorizo baguette with chips. Both were cooked to perfection and I struggled to finish mine, as the portion was so large. We both commented on how good the coffee was too. We will certainly be back! There is also a nice gift shop, children's play area and several different walks to choose from- something for all ages.

The visit to the castle was interesting and good value. We came here today as a small walking group, we managed to walk 5 + miles by walking several of the routes which were very easy to navigate as they were marked with different coloured markers. A great place to see plenty of wildlife or fish on the carp pool (if you are into that), minature railway to entertain the children (currently closed for winter), a great place to just get out and enjoy the great outdoors. Maps available for 50p (Jan 2018) of the routes from the information centre.

We are a small, family owned childrens farm, which has been operating for over 30 years. We have lots of friendly farm animals, mostly undercover so weather does not cause any problems, we also have The Big Play Barn on site, which is a newly built indoor soft play centre. The Big Play Barn has its owe review page on trip advisor and you can look at their web page and facebook for more info. The farm is Ideal for all visitors who love animals and wish to have close contact with them. Plenty of handwashing facilities, ample free parking and activities throughout the day. The main daily activities include holding a baby chicken and bunny, go on a egg hunt to find a freshly laid egg from the Hen House, sit on the pony or shire horse! We also run the tractor and trailer ride everyday and children get a bucket of feed for the animal (except horses). There are extra activities that we put on thoughout the year and we also put on special events days so look out on facebook page and on our webpage for more info. On our farm we have falconary centre which puts on displays everyday (weather dependant) and we breed our Shire Horses in our Shire Horse Centre. All the activities are included in the farm admission price

Visited yesterday with my one year old daughter. Ice cold toilets and filthy baby changing area which may as well have been inside the animal barn. There was no way I would take her clothes off and change her nappy in ice cold toilets like that. 75% of the cafe was cordoned off so there was nowhere for us to sit and eat or have a drink. Spent a maximum of 25 minutes there because it was so awful. How’s it possible to stay somewhere where you can’t even sit and have food or do basic things like change a nappy. I’m so disappointed. And I am baffled as to why a 1 year old would have to pay the full child price when they can’t ecen do anything except be pushed around in a pram. Definitely won’t be visiting again. Total waste of £16 and all the horses loooked either sick or sedated. Horrible.

Despite living in the town for many years I havent visited the Arboretum since the days of the illuminations.I signed up to "Parkrun" and did my first run last weekend..I was so impressed with the facilities now.The Gardens are immaculate ,well laid out and maintained. The cafe is modern ,warm and inviting. Great assett to Walsall.
