Daisy Hill Conservation Park

Reviewed By DEK_29 - Brisbane, Australia

The Daisy Hill Conservation Park is a wonderful little place that cares for native animals. Small with a few resident koalas, the place is a nice, free and informative attraction that can cater to small groups. Additionally, there are barbecues that families can use in the conservation park, walking tracks that you can stroll and wildlife that will make an appearance. On our visit, we were lucky to come across three little wallabies who were friendly enough. The area as with all of Brisbane could do with some rain. One of the wallabies had a tick on its face which I read later in the local magazine were on the rise due to the weather conditions. The Daisy Hill Conservation Park is a worthwhile place to visit.

Underwood Park

Reviewed By Aussiemandas - Melbourne, Australia

Wow sometimes the best places are right under our nose. We observed a abundance of activities going on as we did a small circuit. Personal Trainers and their teams, Cycle carnival, a lad netting tadpoles, ducks, water birds and fowls, doggies having a morning walk, families using the barbecues, kids using the play equipment at Funderworld park, girls playing netball. A credit to Logan City Council for providing and maintaining such a great open facility.

The Sprinwood Conversation Park lies in the shadow of the Daisy Hill Koala Reserve and is therefore more used by locals. It's got a small gorge with a picturesque bridge, Lookouts and several trails worth exploring - all in the suburbs.

Logan North Library

Reviewed By B3NJ1 - Hamilton, Australia

Logan North's library is enormous and so diverse. It has books for all ages, a Wii & Playstation, dozens of computer stations and even large study rooms for group-study. They frequently run workshops for people to improve their literacy, art and/or resumes to name but just a few. It's all very modern, spacious and beautifully laid-out. You'll hardly notice anyone else there, except for the friendly staff. It's even free to sign-up.

Iga Meadowbrook

My first visit a year ago was met with friendly service by all staff members.
Sam introduced himself and calls me by name every time I shop there. If Sam is in the shop on my visit he always makes genuine conversation. Nothing was too much trouble. I am able to purchase Maleny Dairy proucts and milk from here; only place I will buy it from.
Then, in January 2016 I had shoulder surgery, they offered to deliver my groceries even though I was 7 kms away. When I did return to the shop, I always needed help with groceries to the car and they always took the trolley to the car for me. Thank you Sam and staff. I enjoy my weekly visit.
