This was our first trip to an escape room. Had heard of the concept before, but had never actually been to one. This was great. There is so much to see and so much to figure out while you are in the room. Everything is...MoreThanks so much for the kind review. The second room is open and is a little different from the first. Hope to see you back soon!!

Grove City Premium Outlets

Grove City Premium Outlets is located 50 minutes north of downtown Pittsburgh and near the beach town of Erie, PA, at the crossroads of Interstate 79 and 80 in tax-free Pennsylvania. The largest outlet center in western PA, Grove City Premium Outlets is destination shopping at its best with five hotels within walking distance to the center. Local Stop & Stay packages are available.

The Grove City Premium Outlets have tons of stores with ample parking. It is a lot of walking so be prepared as everything is outside and it's a very long center with many stores in between. It was crowded, but we had no trouble finding parking and there was plenty to do and plenty to eat. There's a food court as well as stand alone restaurants. The prices are definitely better than in a regular mall and there were a lot of sales. You can get a coupon book at the customer service center in the food court. There's also play areas for the kids, although they were closed during this time of year due to mud and such.

We stop here because they have a Timberland outlet, which makes my husband's favorite style of shoes. They have lots of stores, mostly high end with slightly reduced prices. The nice thing is that they are all located in one spot. You can find just about anything that you need.

We read the reviews before going here. Some of the reviews said it had a confusing layout and it sounded like we could get lost, but that was not the case.

It's small. It has a variety of items but not a lot of items. For example, there are some board games but not a ton (like you would find at the big box stores) and the games are unique and not necessarily found at the big box stores.

There were toys out that you could "test"

The sales associates were a little too enthusiastic (for our taste).

Because of the design of the building, there are no windows so it's not light and airy feeling inside.

Prices were quite reasonable for a small business owner.

We did get a jigsaw puzzle

Our second visit to McConnells Mills Park. Last time we walked down the steep path; this time we are older (seniors) and we drove down to the mill. There is limited parking next to the mill--we had to wait a few minutes until someone left. The park person was very knowledgeable of the history of Capt. McConnell and the 1800s. The building is well-preserved and clean and original. We got some beautiful picture of the mill, waterfall and bridge. Would reccommend and will return. Need to hold children by the hand withthe water and rugged trails. Wear sturdy shoes.

This trip to Living Treasurers was a business trip. We arrived about opening time and parking was plentiful. Paid and entered through a gift shop. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the park in general and the walkways were easy to navigate. There were many animals and they all appeared to be living in a healthy environment. The Giraffes were amazing to see in a 'small zoo'. I thoroughly enjoyed the animals but there was very little interaction with the several 'staff' members. .

We got to see how traditional moonshine is made first hand in the distillery tour. The folks there explained what they did step by step and we were lucky the still was running while we were there. After the tour, we got to taste the finished product, White Gold, and try Apple Pie & Peach as well. Everyone was really nice, the drinks were great, and it was awesome to see how moonshine and other handcrafted spirits are made. We will definitely be going back.

Solitary Breakout Escape Room was my first live escape room. I have played many online, but it is a different experience live. Our private group had 7 (4 adults, 2 twelve year olds and a 9 year old). All helped solve the puzzles. We "survived" with 4 minutes to spare...only having to ask for a "hint" twice. Challenging and fun. Highly recommended doing it with your friends. Can't wait for their 2nd room to be completed!

We were thrilled to hear the place was being remodeled and had high hopes. We gave it approximately 5 tries and it did not love up to expectations. Decor is better than it had been. Clientele stand directly outside the doors and smoke (which is inconvenient for asthmatics). The food is only mediocre and the service is hit or miss.
