this lovely tour takes only 5 hours to be done, and it should be done from late afternoon till evening as you should know so that one could see fireflies. so I had prearranged from the previous day with my private taxi driver (Mr. Qasim) to take me there.we headed at 4.00 PM from my hotel to Kuala selangor which is 70 Km far from Kuala lampur.the highway going to kuala selangor is surrounded by palm plantations.when we get there,we first headed to a famous hill there named bukit malawati where you could see and even buy some cheap food to feed the monkeys .the trick here is to be smart and courageous enough to keep the monkey food and not to handed to it prematurely and raise your hand near your head so that the animal is to be obliged to go up your shoulder to get it.I did it after several attempts ,the prize was a photo which is the best of my life.after that we went to the jetty to get a ticket for the fireflies watching.the happy surprise was that there are two separate trips within the same ticket.the first was before dark to the right side of the river for eagle feeding.this first tour was fantastic , there are a lot of aminals and birds near the river, and we were lucky enough to see a comodo dragon lizard also.after that we had one hour before the firefly trip begins,so we went in a Chinese restaurant near the jetty for a seafood dinner.the second trip of fireflies itself was fantastic but not for one of a weak heart.although the small boat was full with families and tourists, but me and myfried ravi from Mauritius felt very lonely in the middle of that huge and dark river .but the prize was priceless, seeing and catching the fireflies in your hands is just marvelous and a experience not to be forgotten easily. I was back at my hotel at 9.00 PM.my final opinion is that trip is a must trip for nature lovers.

I was expecting the instructors to be super funny and energetic. But it turned out to be untrue. They were not as friendly as I thought and less helpful too. Yes, we signed a letter stating any losses will not be their responsibility. But... one of my student's shoe was stuck at the bottom of the lake, they didn't allow the kid to look for it and they surely weren't helping to look for it either. They only said: We told you earlier to rent rubber shoes. But they didn't mention why or about the muddy lake that EATS shoes. The instructors didn't show effort to befriend anyone, they instructed and let the kids do it themselves. No encouragement nor support from the instructors, it felt like they lost motivation. Lunch was just simple eggs, chicken and veggie, with rice and drinks. No second visit probably, but if you want to try kayaking, flying fox, building a raft, team building all under one roof, this could be a suitable place. I find the raft building fun, the rest was just okay in my opinion.

Superkart Indoor Karting

Superkart Indoor Karting is Malaysia's largest indoor gokart center..one stop gokart center for adult & child in Malaysia.

Went with a couple of friends twice to try out their indoor Karting.
There is a common airconditioned area for visitors as well as drivers to rest before their races.
There is also an outdoor area for you to view the races.
These people take their business seriously. I remember the first time the track was quite dusty which resulted in a lot of skidding. We provided this feedback to the management and the next time I was there the difference was incredible! Almost no skidding due to dust which resulted in better times.
I highly recommend this place whether you're looking for a fun place for casual driving or even if you wish to organize competitive races. Do give them a go!

Sak Dato Temple

Having friends visiting in KL for a day & don't know where to bring them? This place offers a quick, not-far-from the city alternative. The temple seats on a hill where a hanging bridge leads to a short climb to the viewing point. Here you can get a full view of the surrounding hills & the valley in the distance. Here too can you get a free dose of fresh air which is quite coveted if you're a city resident.
There are a number of restaurants around which will be worth the trip. One of these serves fish & veges wrapped in foil & cooked on charcoal served piping hot on the foil itself.
Not bad for a short drive from KL.

We arrived at the mosque around 1.30 PM when it was closed for prayers. We waited until 2.0 pm for the gates to be opened to general public. As we were nonmuslim my wife was required to put on an additional dress before entering the mosque.
We were impressed with this beautiful mosque on the banks of the river Putra.

Just a short trip from Kuala Lumpur for some Kampung experience. Tried the famous Ikan Bakar Broga. Not really up to expectation, smells but with an enjoyable view. You have to travel pass Sek Dato the Monkey God hill to reach the restaurant. got some orchids along the way at a very cheap price. I was hoping to buy durians King of fruit but not available until June..Also travel to rabbit farm and Hutan Rekreasi (forest reserved) Sungai Tekala but the crowd there was tremendous during holiday season. You can also visit the Semenyih Fish Farm valley which is much more nicer and also can do some light fishing.
