The museum is housed in the former apartments of Paul de Geiger, director of the Sarreguemines faience works from 1871 to 1914. The museum, a memorial to the industry that made the city's reputation has rich collections of ceramics, bearing witness to the diversity of styles proposed by the faience works to cater for all the tastes and needs of its customers when it came to decoration and arts of the table. Faience, stoneware or porcelain, the full range of ceramic products is on display. And the most valuable piece in the museum's collections?
