One hour drive from Campos do Jordao, we found this place amazing. Imagine you have a great 360 degree view with only 15 minutes climbing onto a rock formation! It might be scary to those with height phobia though. During clear sky days, we can see as far as 20 km. Beautiful flowers. We also had a company when we got there on the top -- a vulture!

A must see when you are in town. Very beautiful both on the outside and on the inside with several saints images and a very calm atmosphere.
I tried going on the mass but I exchanged the time between Saturday's and Sunday's masses. I definitely will visit it again kn my next trip to SBS.

Very pretty little chapel in São Bento, not that easy to find. Ask somebody in town.
Apparently it's being constructed by a lady who lives next door with materials she finds in the trash.
Go have a look if you're in town, you won't need more time than 10 minutes to look at it.

We were at the "Pedra do Baú" the whole morning, and when we left we were so hungry and heard about this place which was about 10 minutes away. Getting there, we were informed that there was an entry fee of R$5 per person, which is not bad since the infra-structure is good and there's free parking. The restaurant was DELICIOUS (we were really really hungry, which helps the deliciousness) and after eating we walked around the park. There are many activities for families with kids to do. Horses, fishing, bow and arrow, mini golf... you pay separately for each activity. I strongly recommend going there for lunch after spending the morning at the "Pedra do Baú"

Há um mirante disponível à beira da estrada, com vista para a cachoeira, mas não era nada demais. Há uma pequena picada aberta no mato, que conduz até mais próximo da cachoeira, se você se animar a cruzar o mato e os insetos. Nada demais, francamente.

Esta casa de cultura foi uma forma que a familia teve para preservar a imagem do cidadão da cidade Prof Miguel Reale. Numa sala estão os quadros, em outra a retrospectiva da carreira e familia do Professor. Se organizou um sebo de livros, cds e discos em vinil para venda e outra estante com livros para empréstimo. Havia um café que foi desativado. O jardim da casa está bem cuidado. Se estiver passeando por lá, entre para conhecer!

It's a bit of a steep walk up the hill but it won't take longer than 15 minutes and the views from the top are beautiful.
You can see the whole town and get a better understanding of São Bento.
Go in the late afternoon to see the sun set behind thw Mountains.

cervejas muito boas num lugar muito agradável. A parte interna é bem legal, mas o jardim é especial, principalmente no final de tarde ou à noite.
