A igreja fica no alto. De vários pontos da cidade, dá para vê-la. Ao subir suas escadarias, é possível ter uma vista linda do centro velho e a rua direita com seu casario bem conservado

Best attraction in Sabará. It's a very small chapell a little outside (a tourist shouldn't walk up to place, but it's a nice walk if the person is used to walking). Likely to be closed or under maintenance.

...hot, crowded and difficult to find a parking place. Nothing extraordinary. If you like markets, just take a little extra patience with you... The people are kind and like to help. But I guess I'm over with such places...

O espaço é um autódromo, localizado no início da cidade, pertinho de BH para quem vai via São Gabriel (bairro). São frequentes os eventos por lá os mais comuns são as corridas, conhecida a como arrancadao, e shows musicais, esse mês agora dia 10 terá um show de música sertaneja, mais de 10 bandas. É bem popular em toda a região. Vale muito, Boa opção de diversão com certeza.

To walk around the lagoon is relaxing. And there is a family of capybaras that live there. It would be nice if there were more places to sit and enjoy the scenery.

A Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Carmo é uma jóia em Sabará. Dizem que é a única na qual Aleijadinho trabalhou, deixando sua assinatura nas belas esculturas da igreja. A entrada custa R$4,00. Um senhor, responsável pela igreja me deu todas as informações, deixou tirar fotos sem flash, e até abriu uma tábua no assoalho onde enterravam autoridades eclesiásticas na igreja. Explicou sobre o barroco e o rococó. Valeu a pena!!!

The plaza has a very nice, open park, with Fountains, statues etc, as well as an impressive, palm tree lined walkway. It's a nice spot to relax and people watch, but as it's surrounded by some of the most impressive architecture in Belo Horizonte, as well as the best museums, this is a must see part of the city.

Foi um antigo quartel militar da cidade de santa luzia no séc XVIII. Hoje é um pequeno museu que guarda parte da historia local tanto da questão militar como da vida cotidiana. Há boa variedade em objetos e imagens da cidade. A visita ao é de seg à sex e não paga pra entrar. Vale a O em conferir, pois a cidade não tem muitas atividades culturais.

Only guided trails are allowed. It's really close to the lapinha cave, so it's a good deal to buy both visits together.
The trail starts with a walk through Cerrado vegetation, so it's very dry unless you are visiting in January. You get a great view of the dried lake from the top, above some very tall trees, which is amazing. Lots of birds to see and some nests too. Then you go down to the bottom of the lake, where you can see some cave paintings. Trail then takes you back to the visitor center, a traditional house that serves as a small museum about a Bandeirante.
