There are a myriad of options within this park. The scenery is beautiful along the walks, often you are walking within Forests of birch or elm or maple. Abundant wild life to see along the way. We saw so many deer on the day we went. Sqirrells everywhere. There are 3 main lakes and lots of viewing areas to sit and rest. A great way to get out of the city and get some fresh air.

Lots of parking walking path bicycle path and cross country skiing trails chalet serving full meals very secure police bicycle patrols and again free of charge there is even deers very neat park

The park offers a wide range of activities like Camping, Kayaking, Walking,Picnic, Canoeing, Fishing , Hiking , Bird Observation and its just less than 30 minutes drive from Montreal. Even if you don't bring picnic, there is a small store that sells basic food items like sandwiches. We went in month of July and enjoyed kayaking and picnic over here. Just arrive a little early otherwise you need to be in queue for around 20-30 minutes for renting equipment.

I went there with my grandchildren during the March break to watch a movie and I decided to try the D-Box option with them . The movie was great , the refillable popcorn was excellent , the seats were quite comfortable but the D-Box option was not worth the money I paid for !

Seriously this place has everything you want in a family or friend or romantic outing & walk in the woods - I suspect that the leaves will turn in early October for the spectacular , although the pkace is open year round it's just special .
I'd say about 8 km of intertwined trails some straight some winding some climbing and some down right rock climbing ( but nothing too strenuous ) kids , ado , adults , elderly will all enjoy this place !!!
Pack a lunch / nap sack - stop during your hike and have a nature snak ( no restaurants ) but there is bathrooms ....
Frankly I went with friends and had such a nice day --- I was just charmed - and wondering why after 56 years of life I have not been here before - but I'll be back - about 1 hour from Montreal - 7$ per person charge ( think of it as a donation as this place is impeccable ) you'll swear your in the great north ( but without the Bears ! ).
We did see deer and Doe , a beaver and ducks ! Yup there's a lake at the top !!!
There is trails for all challenges and being a mountain in the middle of the plains --- once on the top WOW you see forever !!!!
After your hike back down , there is plenty of restaurants in the nearby town so make a day-eve excursion - a wonderful friendly city this St Hilaire they've done we'll with tourism offering and quite clean city
Check the weather befor you go , bring what you need , running or hiking shoes , I guarantee a great day with kids of all ages , ( we bumped into seniors and people with baby carriages so -- No Excuses !!!! Get out for a walk :) !!!!

Notre Dame Basilica is a must see in Montreal. Very close to The Old Port this church is magnificent! The architecture reminds us of some of the most noteworthy churches of Europe. The interior is awe inspiring. Include the visit while enjoying Old Montreal. As most tourists will tell you, this place is a taste of Europe in North America. I love my city!

This is a small, family-oriented station, perfect for the younger crowd (<12 years). Kids love meeting the mascots, getting stickers and eating maple toffee at the end of each visit. I am mostly impressed by the ski school and the hundreds of learners that they are able to accommodate simultaneously. The school is very well organized, a well-oiled machine. That said, we would not ski here if it weren't for the kids' ski lessons. The hills are quite small and it gets redundant after 3 runs. It can be dangerous with all those little kids zooming past in unpredictable patterns. My husband, our friend and I all had at one time a child come out of nowhere and crash into us.

Well-designed multimedia, hands-on centre for learning about Quebec's hydroelectric resources. Staff was very courteous. We had an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, Catherine Savoie, who gave an excellent presentation in English, followed by ample time for Q&A's and free exploration for my boys ages 12 and 9. Clean, bright, well-functioning exhibits throughout. And it's all free!

Spent a saturday at recre-o-fun St-Bruno. Kids (girls ages 8-6-5) had a blast. The atmosphere is nice, floors are clean (especially since no shoes are permitted. The attractions are well maintained and staff if friendly. The only negative comment I have is about the food. Stay away from anything that is fried, including: fries, poutine and/or chicken strips. The only edible food we ordered was the grilled cheese. Overall I'd recommend it but eat before you get there (since no outside food is accepted).

A lovely natural setting, numerous water-birds, a nice spot to observe marsh life. Free parking, free visit, and situated on the right side of the St-Laurent to watch marvelous sundown scenery. I go there regularly to take a walk, enjoy an easy bike ride or have a picnic in a beautiful setting.
