Nice leisurely walk through exhibits confirming our views. Was refreshing to see dinosaurs and not have to read the billions of years ago garbage that you are so used to seeing in books. Liked the biblical perspective of the true creation and explanation for how it could happen for all those who doubt.

Big Bone Lick State Historic Site is recognized as the birthplace of American vertebrate paleontology for it's significant role in the development of scientific thought regarding extinction and the relationship of geology and paleontology the world over. The park has been named a National Natural Landmark by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior. The park is famous for its combination of salt springs and late Pleistocene bone beds. Ancient creatures like the mammoth, mastodon, and ground sloth prehistorically visited the mineral springs, swamps, and bogs that are now grassy plains covered with trees and shrubs.
Attended Big Bone Lick State Park with my daughter and grandchildren. The Bison Trail was well worth going, and the kids really enjoyed seeing the Bison up close while they were grazing. We also went to the museum and gift shop and it was delightful.

Yes Old Timers Day is a real thing. Despite the drizzle the people came to this Ohio River landmark. The musicians played, the ale 8 was served and the artists sold their wares. The store is beautifully restored from the Fire and the community supported this event with smiles and parking shuttles.

This is a wonderful Victorian mansion with great views of the Ohio River. The docent gave an excellent and very informative tour. There is some parking just on the side of the house, and more on the street. The mansion is magnificently restored with some original and period pieces. The price is only $7.50 and you should bring cash.

Rising Star Casino is modest compared with some of the other casino resorts on the Ohio River, but it's a nice, quiet place for a weekend getaway. The room was clean and comfortable, the restaurants are open late, and the staff was friendly. Only spent...MoreDear John C We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visit. Thank you for your feedback and we will look forward to having you as our guest in the future. Sincerely Laura W

We were newbies at escape rooms. I never even heard of it until I saw it on Trip Advisor the same morning we booked. The staff member was patient with us even though we had no clue what we were doing. The room design was very well done, and the puzzles were very challenging. We didn’t escape successfully, but it was a fun experience. Good way to spend quality time with your teenagers.

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had! I took my triplet nephews while they were visiting me. We had never zip lined before and it didn't matter. Our guides, Caleb and Daniel, explained the safety before we started and also at various times throughout our ultimate tree top experience! It was so much fun, even for a couch potato like me. Anyone can do this and anyone should!

a wonderful collection of antiques! Beautiful furniture, period clothing, toys, large collection of old books and letters. Most of the items are left by the family who owned the home for many years. A must see! Family cemetery accessible behind the house (not accessible when it rains or during darkness).
Small gift shop with restroom.
Barn swallows are part of the homestead for many years. They are even painted in one of the rooms.
Some parking. Hiking nearby.
I gave it a very good because it has all the original items in the home.

We stayed here three days during Thanksgiving holiday and it was the best choice we could've made. The Valleyview Cabin was great for a family with views of deer running all over the place. The gated community was great to drive around and the grounds were lovely. The only disappointing part was the up charge for Wi-Fi and a fee to use a credit card, good thing we had a check on us which is very rare, but $20.00 was worth it.

Awesome animal santcuary, open to public, free tours. They have White Red Wolves, Raptors, black bears, foxes, and coyotes. Licensed and safe.
Red Wolf Sanctuary is a wonderful place for misplaced wildlife unable to return to the wild that are well taken care of by caring and devoted staff. Ample space is provided for each species that mimics their natural habitat and allows interaction with appropriate others of their kind. Tours are educational and conducted in a way that provides safety to those attending as well as the animals. The two hour tour is filled with background stories of each animal and reasons why they are unable to return to the wild. There are animals who were rehabilitated and released which is another aspect of the sanctuary. They rely mostly on donations and have no funding from the Federal or State government, yet must comply with regulations to remain open. Go to their website and Facebook page to see pictures and to learn more about this wonderful place.
