Horseback Winery Tours

Reviewed By Patsyudall

One of my favourite experiences to date in the Mornington peninsular. We booked the 3 Hour horseback winery tour and lunch to follow at T'Gallant. Genuinely welcoming staff from the first greeting at reception, the girls guiding our tour and the winery staff at the stops we visited. I Recommend booking the extra lunch option as we had a table waiting for us at T'Gallant on a very busy public holiday weekend. My husband fell in love with his beautiful horse Toffee and I fell in love with lovely Delihla. Thankyou to all the staff for such a lovely treat

Took a 2 hour public group class at Gunnamata beach. All equipment was provided. Fraser and the other coach (forgot his name, dog!) are very friendly and helpful, particularly in the water. Caught a bunch of waves despite us being complete novices. 2 hours may sound short but was a heck of a workout! Great way to get your feet wet, so to speak. 5 stars!

We were hosting some Korean students and decided to visit here. It is an expensive experience if you are just doing the maze, would love a family ticket to make it a little more reasonable.
The Gardens are beautiful and the mazes are fun. The tubing is fun for all ages. It is our second time here but probably won’t be back in the next few years due to the cost.

Safety Beach

Enroute returning from our full day tour in Mornington Peninsula to the CBD, our tour group stopover at Dromana for a short visit to the famous multi-coloured bathing boxes located along the Safety beach.
It was quite crowded when we arrived as it was Sunday afternoon with families crowding along the beach. It has a nice view seeing the sea, with soft and clean sand, cooling and crystal clear seawater, as we strolled for a while before moving up to the colourful bathing boxes for photographing.
The bathing boxes were interesting, of many colours and each is unique in its own setting.
There are also washrooms and cafes nearby and so one can enjoy a coffee break nearby after engaging in the sea activities.

We thoroughly enjoyed this gin making class from start to finish. The distiller who led the class had a lovely manner and was very knowledgeable. We really appreciated the commitment of the business to using local grapes to produce the ethanol base for their gin. The actual creation of our own gin recipes was tremendous fun - it was a bit like being back at school with some very basic measuring and calculations, except with a slightly gin fuddled brain. And now we have our personal bottles of gin to share with friends and family. Overall a great experience for anyone who likes gin.

Main Ridge Dairy

Main Ridge Dairy is a goat dairy and farmhouse cheesery. We offer cheese tastings, platters, local wine, tea and coffee and dairy tours some Saturdays (bookings essential). Milking 200 goats on our 130 acre farm, our girls are all named and well cared for. Our dairy was built to be gentle on the milk and all this effort results in beautiful sweet milk of the highest quality. After milking our fresh milk is turned into a range of handcrafted cheeses all produced on the property. Our cheeses include a fresh delicate curd, gooey and decadent white mould, an aged table cheese with a nutty sweet flavor and our very hard to resist award winning marinated chevre (Gold Medal Melbourne Specialist Cheese Show).

We arrived here after walking away from other busy and noisy venues on a Saturday afternoon. We walked into Noel's and practically had the cafe to ourselves. Now that's not usually a good sign, but our meals were superb. We enjoyed a lunch of pesto pasta and the warm salmon salad, both delicious and served with a friendly smile. We sat by the window, enjoyed the view and peaceful surroundings and felt lucky to have happened along to Noel's.
