Did this walk from Benicassim to Oropesa & back. It's a lovely flat walk with great views. Not much seemed open near the end at Orepesa, probably because it is out of season.

Originally a Moorish settlement, developed by the Knights Templar, home to Pope Benedict XIII, the castle has a lot of history and spectacular views of the ocean. Charming narrow, maze-like streets with a lot of souvenir shops and plenty of restaurants to sit down and enjoy local food. The entrance is 5€ - a bargain for the experience.

Butterflies , Parrots , Kangaroos lots to see you can feed the birds whilst they are free flying in large aviaries lots of beautiful butterflies with more hatching out as you watch. The Parrots and Parakeets, Peacocks to Cockatiels all in large aviaries with themed areas buy your seed from the entrance and enjoy feeding the birds because they enjoy being fed

We visited Castellon on Monday 7th October, 2019, as part of a Western Mediterranean cruise holiday. The Central Market is located in the main square adjacent to the Cathedral. This Market has a wide variety of fresh produce including all the usual vegetables, meat products, cheeses, fish, and many more products. It is a very clean and tidy Market. Well worth a visit.
