The Gunnery

Australia's first of its kind, indoor shooting range, here at Christies Beach. Not only do we have static targets but we can also have moving targets and scenarios. Great fun, extremely safe and the scenarios can be very challenging. Photo ID is required. Closed shoes is advised. No licence required. You can reach us by, car, train or bus.

We came here as part of a Birthday and had a great time. Disappointed we could only go in 2 at a time on the targets as it wasn’t as much fun, and it put a downer on things when the gun kept jamming at the end of our session. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Port Noarlunga Snuba

Guided SNUBA & snorkeling tours of the Port Noarlunga Aquatic Reserve. Snorkel equipment hire & sales.

Staff were excellent, safety first issues dealt with, my major concern was asking if people could swim AFTER the briefing. If they can’t swim how are they going to swim underwater? This meant our experience was limited by most other people snorkelling on the surface and us not having the experience decribed in the briefing.

Hallett Cove Conservation Park

It can be accessed from a few points around Hallett Cove depending on how far you want to walk. The trail at the bottom was undergoing some work when we were there. The 'Sugerloaf' is well worth a look with the contrast in white and red colours. The park links to the clifftop walk and boardwalk which is well worth a walk if you have the time and energy.

Jubilee Adventure Playground

Reviewed By Emma D - Brisbane, Australia

I took my 9 year old niece here and we both had a ball!!! It's truly an adventure playground and you could spend a good couple of hours here and not get bored. There are two sections - the wooden adventure part and a slightly older playground with swings as climbing nets. Good for all ages as there is a toddler section with a smaller slide and monkey bar. It's right next to the river so it's a beautiful spot for the family. Plenty of parking and there are toilets on site.

Colonnades

Reviewed By JONHallettCove J - Hallett Cove

Colonnades had become a little run down so a huge investment has upgraded the centre which now includes Aldi, a re-vamped Woolies, Cibo Coffee shop, a couple of boutique (home decorations, lamps bric-a-brac etc) and a large market (fruit and Veg) store.
There is also additional road access and more parking just to service this part of the centre.
The other main department stores include , KMart, Coles, Woolworth's and an extensive food court.
Outside the mall are Dan Murphy's, a service station and a new development which seems to be taking some time to open with speculation of what additional stores will be opened. A good project to watch with Christmas looming...ha ha

Inflatable World

Ideally suit kids 8-12 years, with a dedicated area for young ones. Some older ones will have a ball too though. Lots of laughs. Provides a great workout. Normally allowed 2 hours for play, but is not overly busy, so they are often allow a bit longer play.
A good value option for parties too. You may take your own food and drinks inside, so that is always a bonus.

Reviewed By Kirra S - Adelaide, Australia

I booked out the centre a couple of weekends ago on a Saturday afternoon. It was $900 for 3 hours and you could play unlimited lasertag, laser shooting gallery, dodgem cars and their arcade. It was a really fun experience for 60 people. We got adults to pay $20 a head and kids $5 a head. You couldn't play all arcade games (it said some weren't owned by them) and the "arcade room" was consoles with screens on the walls so no one played in there at all. It was great that you can bring you own eskies with food and drink and they had party rooms. I wouldn't bother going there for one game as the centre is a little poxy and small but as a group this was excellent value and a great party idea. The only negative I would say is that they could be more organised. We were held out for 15 minutes whilst they packed up from the last group but there was only a tiny sign on the door with my name on it so the public started coming in half an hour before we were due to pack up and no one was stopping them. Overall our group had a great time and the larger games were good.
