Great wines and tour
Alexandra was an excellent host.
Easy booking via email in advance.
Well worth the relatively high tasting price - but lots of extras (light snacks to eat, premium wines, great tour).
Wish we could have done the barbecue.
Beautiful winery
Highly recommended.

We came here because we visited the Santa Rita winery, but it's well worth leaving Santiago for in its own right. Modern, well presented and wide-reaching (and with everything translated into good English). The Easter Island stuff and the 11000 bc display, as well as much else, is very good. (And they have wifi!!).

Before coming to Chile, I'd not heard of Haras de Pirque. Luckily, Wines and Barrels brought me here for a tour and premium tasting when I asked them to arrange a day in Maipo Valley for me. The wine tasting and tour were great, but the standout was the amazing view.

Close to Pirque. Good hiking, clearly marked and well maintained trails. Beautiful views. Not a lot of people during May, which we loved! 3000 Pesos per person to enter. (About USD $5 at time of review)

The place where the heart meets the soul! The trip from Santiago is not that long and Pirque has many places that deserve to be visited, as for example, The National Reserve Rio Clarillo. The winery has a wide and compelling range of products most of which can be tasted. They also have some varieties on sale that one does not find in the regular wine-shops.

This was a nice little shop with handcrafted local Chilean products. We bought some yarn from sheep dyed with natural dyes. There were some clothes that could be bought. And there was artwork to see or buy.
