In Thai, Phetchaburi means "city of diamonds" (buri meaning "city" in sanskrit). It is approximately 160 km south of Bangkok, at the northern end of the Thai peninsula. As of 2005, the town had a population of 26,181 and covers the two tambon Tha Rap and Khlong Krachaeng.

Beautiful training facility, dining, and living quarters. Nice cold pool to sit in on a hot day or after a workout. The entire staff is extremely friendly and caring. Their fresh food tastes amazing. Fishing on-site for relaxation or to eat. Coconuts are growing and you can pull them from the trees. The bed was so comfortable that I had to set an alarm so I wouldn't sleep too much. The beach and 7/11 are just a short drive away. Truly was a wonderful experience and I will be back in February to stay again with my family.

Just loved the light shining through the rocks and there are a number of caves to explore. The monkeys outside too commercialised for my liking..
