Was there with our grandkids. Had much fun and it was very interesting to watch all the different animals. Were a bit late in the afternoon so we couldn't do the climbing in the trees. Its a cheap entertaining. You just pay a little parking fee and entrance is included.

When I first heard of this type of artist display I was very sceptical, but thought I will try it once.
This display was innovative, refreshing and absolutely eye opening, it made you feel like you were in the middle Ancient Rome.
What a great use of old infrastuture !!!!!

If you’re a jeweller or into jewellery this museum is a must.
They have an important collection of jewellery plus regular one off Exhibitions
It’s about 1.5 hours by train from Frankfurt, and a maximum of 15 minutes walk from the station, in the middle of a large park near the river
I have reviewed separately a hotel and restaurant if you decide to stay in the town

This is more than a car collection. The building is crammed full with every possible momento from life in earlier times. It is both fascinating and at times overwhelming. The number of items is staggering. Good for all ages, it is not a typical museum, but a collection! Well worth visiting.

The guides at the Technical Museum really enjoy their craft. The museum is small, but rich in demonstrating and showing the art of jewelry making. Every step in the process is covered; I learned many new things. I think it would be an excellent place to take children.

Schmuckwelten

Reviewed By CanadianDiamond - Ottawa, Canada

The Shmuckwelten is worth a visit for the English speaking visitor to Pforzheim; all displays are in both English and German. The museum has informative and interesting sections on the grading and making of pearls, the grading of diamonds, the geographical location of precious jewels, the processes for making gold and the unique aspects of the Black Forest, including traditional dress and Cuckoo clocks. The temporary exhibit was a fascinating collection of photos of Elizabeth Taylor in her glory days. The exhibits are beautifully displayed, well cared for and the staff are friendly and helpful.
There was a family with children visiting at the same time as us, and though there are not activities geared specifically towards, the children seemed to be enjoying themselves.

St. Michael Schlosskirche

Reviewed By AUeberschaer - Eisingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany

DDR Museum Pforzheim

Reviewed By Chiefinho - Muhlacker, Germany

Absolut besuchenswert!
