Paducah (/pəˈduːkə/) is a home rule-class city in and the county seat of McCracken County, Kentucky, United States. The largest city in the Jackson Purchase region, it is located at the confluence of the Tennessee and the Ohio rivers, halfway between St. Louis, Missouri, to the northwest and Nashville, Tennessee, to the southeast. The population was 24,864 in 2015, down from 25,024 during the 2010 U.S. Census. Twenty blocks of the city's downtown have been designated as a historic district and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

I was looking for watermelon wine and I found it here; waiting for summer to come to enjoy it though. My bottles arrived neatly and securely packaged in pretty blue bottles. Saving the bottles to make something from them. Came across a recipe for rhubarb wine - anyone there want to try a batch - I'll be your taste tester! Not tried grape varieties only fruity ones but they are delish.

Marvelously done and so incredibly created by some extremely talented people!
We were very pleased with this wonderful artwork and wish more public spaces were available and offered for use in our city and rural areas.
Perhaps other places will find some similar success jjust like the Quilts on the Barns arts of which are seen on barns across our country!

This walk is behind the flood walls where the 50 murals are. You can drive down and park by the river. You can walk along the flood wall and see the tow boats, barges and other things going on in the Ohio River. Restaurants are nearby.

This is a really nice park in Paducah, easy to find, easy to get to, easy to park at. It's quite picturesque and very relaxing. A great place for a nice walk. It's quite large, with some beautiful trees and a pond. Would recommend if you're looking for a nice park in the area.

I have never seen a welcome center as beautiful as this piece of history. First the people were very nice. The tour of the house was amazing, I loved the Old furniture. They did a lovely job of bringing this house back to life. Lots off information on the area also.

... an electric power engineer. The generators went in service about 70 years ago, and have been upgraded at least once, along with what appear to be newer generator step-up transformers. TVA still has what looks like the original bulk-oil 161 kV circuit breakers in service in the switchyard, but the adjacent lower voltage yard has some more modern equipment. The walk across the length of the dam is a pleasant way to break up a long drive. The husband-and-wife team of volunteer hosts at the Visitor Center were quite knowledgeable of much of TVA's history.

This is a storefront with an exhibit of a bit of moonshining history. It's pretty cool. And then the tour includes a visit to the current distilling operation. It's not very big so the tour is short and sweet. The highlight is the "gift" shop. You can buy moonshine and various falovored versions of it. Makes some tasty drinks, but not really serious liquor.

This is a nice home with lots of Civil War relics and information, not solely about Lloyd Tilghman. The lady working at the house was very friendly and informative. The information doesn't seem to be in a particular order, but random collections of stories of different men and battles. It's worth the small admission (0-6=free, 7-12=$1, 13+=$5) and time. We had several young children with us, and we all enjoyed our visit.

Good to see the ancient people of this area acknowledged. There is such history in the river going back thousands of years that feels so humbling.We are glad to see our visitors engage with our exhibits and learn from them as well. Learning about our indigenous people is vitally important. We have an award-winning program called Mound Builders that teaches about our earilest people.
