Great place to stop while driving through Orderville. We missed it 2 days because he closes at 6:00 PM but got there in our 3rd day for coffee. Super nice owner who gives out advise for place hikes and parks for free!

Get a chance to shoot a gun safely with an instructor holding a national-level certification. We're located right in Orderville, Utah, on the road between Zion, Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Many of our visitors stop in for a shoot on their way from one park to the next! I'm a school teacher, so my hours are a little irregular during the school year. I'm mostly open on Saturdays, but can sometimes do a session on a weekday afternoon. Call, text, or email for availability.

We had a wonderful first time of shooting with Robert and his son, it was a fun and informal experience. Robert was very flexible in arranging a suitable time and program, after which he brought us to the beautiful shooting range with his truck, and we had some great fun with his collection of guns. He was a very smooth, patient teacher and he was also very flexible in which guns and targets we could try. It was a great experience, would definitely recommend this to anyone in the area interested in trying out real firearms for the first (or not first) time!

What a sleeper surprise hit! Such a gorgeous area close to Kanab. The trailhead is a bit hard to locate in Orderville, near the fenced in water tanks. I found the directions and tips on Alltrails app to be helpful. The hike along the sand wash to the slot canyon was short and beautiful. The slot canyon itself was fun and got very narrow – so delightful for beginner slot hikers! We were able to explore lots of the rocky area nearby and there are plenty of places to picnic on a flat rock outcropping. The best part was NO CROWDS. We enjoyed this little slot canyon more than our 2 days in Zion (we did not do the Narrows or Angels Landing but the other hikes were just meh for us, in part due to the crowds.)
