Fantastic place to watch grownups and children alike get so close to the birds of Prey.
With eyes that can spot a mouse at over 8 km Mordikai the Huge Eagle Owl looks right thru you with those enormous orange eyes. then next minute he is nestling into your granddaughters neck so gently like a puppy.. Super educational fun filled humorous description of all the birds and watching them hunt and fly. One of those places you go to and say that was fantastic where do I go to pay as it was so worth it.Lovely grounds bar and cafe and also knowing your money is going to enable injured birds of prey to be nursed back to health and then returned to the wild when recovered.. A very rewarding way of giving to charity and getting something back yourself

I contacted Riki Bikes via trip adviser the day before we wanted to hire and I got a reply within a few hours with all of the information I wanted.
We hired two bikes (both cube mountain bikes with front suspension and disc brakes, well serviced and came with a lock). They were ready when we arrived and cost 50 kuna each for the day.
We were given good directions to get to Skradinski Buk (about 5km mainly on gravel paths, very few cars, mainly walkers and other bikes). We were also given a route to get to Vasovic and Roski Slap, a much longer route on roads (not much traffic) which were very windy and a good amount of uphill. We didn't make it as far as Roski Slap before we had to head back, but would definitely recommend it to anyone with a good level of fitness. If not you can always lock the bikes up in the racks at Skradinski Buk and take the boat. The attendant at Krka suggested that you might be able to take bikes on the boat by it would be up to the captain of each individual boat and wasn't guaranteed.
Rikardo very kindly offered to print our bus tickets for the way home as we weren't able to book them locally (we recommend booking the bus tickets at least a day in advance if travelling from Split as the bus we wanted in the morning had sold out when we arrived).
A fantastic service, very well located for entry to Krka, and great value. We would definitely recommend them.

The main reason for proclaiming this area a national park was the protection of the largest and best preserved forest complex in the territory of Dalmatia, which was threatened by overexploitation. Amazing nature and definitely a climbers haven. Went with the family and climbing friends. Family went hiking and enjoying wonderful nature and scenery while I was climbing with friends.

The sea organ is truly amazing. We enjoyed the music which is actually by way of sea waves and tubes located underneath the large marble steps. We sat on the steps listening to the music while waiting for sunset. It is very relaxing to enjoy the sea and at the same time listening to the music.
A must visit if you are at Zadar.

Nin is generally a small charming town with well-preserved sights. The stone bridge and old gate at the entrance to the city shows how it used to be in roman time. Take time and enjoy.

Beautiful national park, an environment, a clear sea, which you have to definitely visit from the sea side, traveling by boat between all this little Islands. The interesting thing are the fishes that are coming to meet you without any fear.
One note, entrance to the park and with the boat must be paid at the height of the boat length. Good too know when strange little boat comes to visit you!

Perfect place to learn how to windsurf and a great location for termic wind "maestral". Very good equipment in the centre, also friendly and helpfull staff, especially Vlatka K. which tought me how to jibe and brought my windsurfing level high up. Friendly place and I recommend it very much!

There are many direct busses from Split to the Skradin entrance of Krka National Park. The busses bypass Sibenik. The earliest departs Split at 7am. The journey takes about 1.5 hour. Getbybus.com provides detailed information. Flixbus is also available; but information is somewhat limited.
There is no bus station at Skradin, only a bus stop. Step out the bus at stop. Walk straight forward for 50 meters. You will reach a T-intersection. Turn right and follow the road turning left with a short walk, you will reach the Krka National Park Reception. Pay your park entrance fee; continue a short walk to the port and board the boat (ferry) to Skradinski buk waterfall.
The frequency of the ferry is hourly; half an hour 'to' and half an hour 'back'. The actual sailing time is about 20 minutes one way. The price for ferry is included in the park entrance fee.
If you make a left turn at the T-intersection, walk a short distance, you will meet a paved mountain road. Turn right and walk along the edge of the road (there is no road shoulder nor sidewalk available). Walk for about 10 minutes (up hill), you come to a bridge crossing the river on your right side. There is a small shelter (in front of the bridge) with national park staff. This is the entrance to the Skradinski buk waterfall by walking (instead of ferry). Pay your entrance fee to park staff and start your walking along the gravel path (don't cross the bridge). The walk path is at mid-height of the mountain. You will see the river and the ferry boat on your right side below. It is quite scenic. The walk takes about 40 minutes.
I completed exploration of the park, circling around the Waterfalls, in about 1.5 hour. Boat excursion to Visovac was not available at the end of October. Didn't see anybody swimming. The park is definitely worth a visit. I can see the park will be even more appealing and eventful in summer.
Took ferry back Skradin and planned to take an early afternoon bus to Zadar. However, the bus to Zadar didn't show up long after the scheduled arrival time. Then I noticed the driver of a white mid-size van parked nearby was soliciting the descending passengers from a just arrived bus (not to Zadar). After leanred that I wanted to go to Zadar, he asked me to get into his van. His van was going to Zadar! How lucky was I!
On the way to Zadar, the van stopped in a commercial/parking ground near highway. Waited for a bus coming. They exchanged several passengers, then on way to Zadar. This journey took about 1.5 hour too. Apparently this is some alternative transportation means that locals are aware, but not foreign visitors. So, if you failed to catch a bus to Zadar, consult locals for alternatives. It also left me an impression that the bus from Skradin to Zadar is limited and not reliable.

This church is not just the one of the most important cratian buildings, but one of the most fascinating sun temples.
Crimoatia should invest and maje this church againg functional, decorated, protected from tourists and remove birds away.
There should be an entrance fee and sime mrketing efforts to promote the church, itssun effects, cratian mediaval state and the later history of Nin.
It is not adequate to bring all the TV material for a show to be produced there and to have spare material stored by the walls of this little wonder.
