I have lived in Phoenix my entire life and have never really given much thought about the Phoenix Mountains Preserve. Well, that has changed! I hiked to Piestewa Peak, and wow, was it beautiful! It was also a very good workout! I can't believe the amount of hiking that is available in the preserve right in the middle of Phoenix! I definitely recommend checking out the assortment of trails the preserve offers. It is pretty large, so if you need help finding preserve amenities like drinking fountains, restrooms, ramadas, etc., the app, Avem, is very helpful!

I have not had a massage in quite some time and was very excited to receive one. The location is so beautiful with a Mediterranean aesthetic. I was first greeted by Joy, who could not have been nicer. She ensured that if I needed anything at all to just ask and I would be accommodated. Lucinda gave me my massage and it was just bliss! She was very focused and thorough, excellent service. I was thanked for visiting and was warmly welcomed to return, of which I will most definitely!

Lookout Mountain Preserve

Reviewed By michelleshanksbrown - Kansas City, United States

I hiked the summit trail. It was about 40 minutes round trip. There are a lot of loose rocks but I didn’t have any problems. Just pay attention to where you step. The views were amazing. We did a sunset hike and I loved every minute of it. Bring water - you will need it. The summit trail pretty much goes right up the mountain. We had a 12 yr old with us that made the hike easily. There are many trails here. Some go around the mountain. There is limited parking.
