Calm water, surrounding these three Cays. There were very few fish but we did see some excellent purple sea plumes and a sunken barge. The beach here is surrounded by large rock ledges, that offer Seating and opportunities to make Beach cairns, there were several and we left one too.

Had a great two day stay at the Pelican Beach Hotel.
Susan the owner and her daughters were so nice.
We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel which was good.
Super laid back place.
Watch out for the local dogs as they will come and steal your flip flops off your porch ! LOL
Shower head could do with a little help

I wasn't sure if I'd check out this beach as there are mixed reviews about it so I really didn't know what I'd find. I'm so glad that I did though.
I found it very easy to access, even with no signs to point you in the right direction. When you're driving up the island on your way to Middle, after the flamingo lookout with the pink house, on the opposite side, you'll come up to a few buildings, an ice cream shop, and Victoria gift shop, turn at the road to access the shops, and take it all the way down. I can't recall if it was very bumpy or not, but if it is, just go slow. You'll see a gate to drive through and you can park your car fairly close.
When I was there, there was one local with his dog. Before I left, a couple came too. They left their sandals at the beginning of the sand and walked until I couldn't see them behind a bend.
The sand was nice and there were nice shells, I felt safe, even as a young solo female traveller, and the water was absolutely beautiful. I don't know what more you could ask for. I highly recommend this beach to everyone. It was simple to access and absolutely beautiful.

I plan a fishing, snorkeling, and diving for lobster trip with Dedrick every time I come to the Caicos. We ALWAYS catch our limit of lobster and fish, and spend the remaining time snorkeling or sightseeing. I highly recommend Dedrick for his knowledge, friendly attitude, and a great time on the water. I can't wait to go over the reef and catch a big 'cuda again and see the dolphins. My friends and I will be back soon!

Some of the best Turks and Caicos Bonefishing can be found on the bonefish flats of Bottle Creek on North Caicos. Whether guided fishing for bonefish on the ankle deep flats or you prefer to try some self-guided fishing, there is easy access to the crystal clear water and hard wading bottom of Bottle Creek. The vast expanse of water ranging from mangroves to channels and small estuaries is largely unspoiled and unfished. There are a series of four or five good flats with a 3 hour tidal difference - so ideal wading and stalking conditions somewhere throughout the day. Anglers coming from Provo will catch the 6.30am ferry (Mon-Sat) and we will have you on the flats before 8am. Plan on the 4pm ferry returning.

My guide Daryl knew the water like the back of his hand, which is appropriate as he grew up right there on the shore of Bottle Creek. He put me over tons of bonefish, and was a pleasure to fish with.Glad you had a great time on the "creek", it is a beautiful place and plenty of bones !!

If you want to experience a tactile sense of understanding on the history of these Islands, go here! Call a day or two ahead and arrange a tour. Arrange to visit as soon as you get off the ferry, if you wait to do it at the end of your touring day, you will be too tired. Our tour guide was a lovely lady, a descendant of one of the plantation slaves. The ruins are eerily beautiful, a deep and utter sadness haunts Wade's Green. You don't have to stretch your imagination too much to envision the hardships of daily life, the evidence of hard manual labour are everywhere. Check out the TCI museum website for info on the plantation before you go, it's a fascinating story!

Secluded beach between Hollywood Beach and Three Mary Cays. One of the most beautiful, calm, picturesque Beaches that we saw during our North Caicos trip. Powdery white sand beach. The rugged Pumpkin Bluff makes for an interesting hike as it hides a secret beach just on the other side.
It’s a little hard to find as it’s tucked away in the back roads with no signage to guide you. Again map/directions will come handy. Coming from Sandy Point Marina, turn left when you reach the Whitby corner, across from Big Josh's bar. We passed by the Silver Palm Restaurant. We saw the tiki hut on the beach from the road. We stopped to check it out and as it turned out we found the secluded Pumpkin Bluff Beach. Enjoy it!

I am totally for eco tourism but this site, besides its local legend, is not worth more than 2 pictures. North and Middle Caicos visit in one day will take you a lot of time, so you can skip this site. Trust me. And you better have a good jeep and be a great driver to come in and get out of this place as the exit has to be executed in rear gear. If you are American and used to nice roads, don't even think about entering this site ! You've been warned...

This place was included as part of our island tour. Basically it is a nature preserve where flamingos bask in the sun. Depending on the time of day, the season and luck you may or may not see them. The tour operator had binoculars to see them out in the fields. I would say that they must have been 2 to 3 miles out when a flock was flying in for a landing. It’s a shame they were so far away.

I do not feel embarrassed by my inability to find the Government Farm. We were fortunate that when we stopped to ask for directions the person we asked was able to call his cousin who was walking to work at the farm. We then gave this individual a ride to his work and he gave us a tour of the farm. The entrance to the farm was through a small, closed, unmarked gate. Close to the entrance was a pen with a small herd of goats. During the tour we saw various herbs, zucchini (the largest I have ever seen), tomato, papaya (sadly, for me, no mango), sugar cane, sweet pepper, hot pepper, and bok choy being grown. If you visit be prepared to deal with insects that are intent on making you a meal.
