Because of trip advisor reviews, my friend and I sought out this gallery. Because of the small winding streets in Mykonos, this may not be easy to find, so if you wish to go, plot out the location on a map before you head out. Lovely little art gallery with some of the most interesting, original sculpture I have ever seen.. Definitely worth it for a stop in to cool off from the hot sun and to take a bit of time enjoying some beautiful art. The owners were more than willing to teach visitors about the art and artists and they have taken time to provide a bit of a description next to each piece about the artist. Wish I had a home and wallet big enough to to take a piece home.

It’s down some steps - sign and entrance weren't particularly obvious, so you can easily miss it – and you would find a hidden gem. It is a lovely family business with great breads, cookies and pastries.
In the morning, you can watch Gioras baking using the wood oven.
The owners are extremely nice and welcoming.

If you are not on a group tour then you will not be prioritised, so you have to wait around ages for the food to come out. I think the food is overrated, apart greek salads, breads and cheeses and wines, there is nothing else that you can enjoy. Tip would be to go have a look at the farm but eat elsewhere!

Unorganized & natural (no chairs or umbrellas), nice quiet beach on North side of island, away from crowds, opposite vibe to South shore Beaches, partially-enclosed beach faces East so is protected from ocean current and wind, large sand beach, some rocks, great bay for kayak and stand-up paddle board, no music, water bottles and snacks (large glazed donuts) sold there by locals, bring your own food & drink supplies as needed, popular beach for nudity, water is fantastic (blue, cool & clear), good for snorkeling although didn’t see many fish, parking can be difficult as you park on extremely narrow streets nearby or the 2-lane street high up on the hill over the beach, the drive to the beach is quite amazing with view of large bay and surrounding hills, near ocean to the North, secret Tavern located nearby (although it’s seasonal like the island), one of our favorite Beaches on Mykonos, so peaceful & majestic there, a must-do activity if you have the time and the transport.

Charming and cute. Wonderful little village on the hillside. Stuffed with little shops and seaside restaurants and great Greek food. Its the kind of place you think..."I could live here". The people are charming , friendly and welcoming. Everyone should visit Mykonos. Go in off season tho', otherwise it is very crowded.

The Mykonos Sea Bus connects the new port of Tourlos (where cruise ships dock) with old Mykonos Town (Chora). They run every 30 min, and it’s only 2 ue pp one way for the 8 min. ride. We found the service to be punctual and comfortable. Note that the line may appear long (depending on how many cruise ships are docked in port), but the Ferries hold 100-150 passengers so don’t despair. Also, if your ship is anchored in the bay, the cruise line will have their own tender service. So make sure you’re waiting in the right queue! The Mykonos Sea Bus is a quick and cheap ride between the ports. It’s the only way to go!

If your cruise ship is anchored in the bay, you’ll be tendered ashore to the old port. This is the bustling waterfront within walking distance of the center of old Mykonos Town (also called Chora). The old port is picturesque (also crowded), and provides a great starting point to explore the town. You can also catch the ferry to Delos from here. Basically it’s where the action is! Tourlos is the "new" port where the cruise ships and other large boats and ships dock. It’s located about 2 miles from Mykonos Town. You could walk (30 min and not advised since there is no real sidewalk), or take a bus or taxi. Another fantastic alternative is the SeaBus which connects the 2 ports

Everybody (!) around the world knows it! Sure, it's expensive, there, sure, because it's a world famous Island for "jet-setters", such as Madonna, Elton John & Robert de Niro. They do have villas on Mykonos, they are coming with their own yachts to Mykonos, every year, again and again. Really, it's the french "Côte d'Azur", it's "Monaco", it's the german island "Sylt" of the North Sea, it's the wellknown greek "Hot-Spot", "hightlight" for "uncomplicated champagne summer vacations", multicultural! It's not the right destination for "all included tourists"!
Unfortunately, I must say this now, after 21 years visiting Mykonos Island, more than 30 times. But, I can't hear it "any-more, any-longer", now!. "...... it's soooo expensive here!"
Do have a "delicious fresh fruits alcoholic cocktail" on the Promenade in Cannes, do have a bottle of "Dom Pérignon brut, Cuvée prestige" or Champagner "Crystal" on the Corniche of Abu Dhabi or in the trendy roof bar of the "Etihat Towers - on the 75th floor! You you think, it's cheaper, there? What do you believe?
"Mykonos is Mykonos", not Naxos or Crete or Rhode Island!
..... "Elia" is my preferred beach on Mykonos! There, you will find, what you want, what you would like to enjoy! Comfortable sun beds & umbrellas, a very clean & sandy, golden beach, the longest one of the Island, all Water Sports, like Jet Ski, and beach services of two wonderful restaurants, and very hard working joung men from Russia, Bulgaria, Albania .... to serve "you" on "your" sun bed, even with "spaghetti with lobster", champagne, cocktails, Vodka or a "Cappuccino"!
"Maria Z.", the wife of the owner of all this "beaches services" is a/the "institution" there, at "ESPUMA", "Capelayo" & "Arte&Mare Elia Suites"!
.... two weeks ago. after season, in October 2017, I didn't have any more cigarettes left on the beach. The beach-kiosk was closed already. What do you think? What did happen?
.... I had a delicious "Cappuccino" with a wonderful foam crown and brown sugar at Espuma, for € 4 - like every afternoon.
.... and SHE, "Maria" said: "Give me 30 minutes, please, one of my boys or drivers will get cigarettes for "you" from Ano Mera, from next town, 7 km far away!
€ 4,50 a packet of Malboro!
Is that expensive, also? No, that's just "Mykonos"! That's service!
That's the secret and reason, I do like and love "Mykonos"!!!

This beach has all the ingredients to be beautiful: no parasols, out of the tourist track and with slightly less wind than others. However, when approached, one notices a lot of trash floating in the water, brought by sea currents. The descent into the water is also rocky -- more similar to Santorini Beaches. Here's a picture of how much trash I took out of the water in an hour.

Lovely beach. With area to bring your own towels to chill however nemos beach club is a joke.. Mykonos is pricey - that's just a fact and is the same pretty much everywhere however with a large price tag you expect service... you won't get this here! Go to Elia.. 10 mins away - better service, food and drinks and actually smiling faces..
