Gorgeous park (though quite small) with a variety of plants and flowers. Especially pretty during the summer time and during the winter, when they do "Garden De'Lights". It's a Christmas light installation. Gorgeous!

Luther Burbank Park offers beautiful views of Lake Washington. There is a nice trail along the water and picnic tables and benches scattered throughout. The beach area would probably be nice in the summer but it was too cold for swimming when we visited.

Wow. The colours, shapes and feeling of the designs were just incredible. This was my favourite activity while in Seattle, even just sitting in the garden was superb. The staff are friendly and even give a glass blowing demonstration which was brilliant. I had wanted to see the gallery but had no idea how enthralled we would be. We thought we were filling some time before going to the space needle but this was the best exhibition, we spent approximately 2.5 hours here and it easily could have been longer. Definitely recommend.

One must visit the Public Market Center – Pike Place Market whenever you are in Seattle / Seattle downtown. It was not very busy during weekdays. Enjoyed the great view around including the giant wheel side.
Since it is a covered market, it is suitable to visit all the seasons including a rainy day. Have a look at fresh flowers, fresh fruits and seafood. Coffee shops and bakery are plenty.
Farmers market provides to the opportunity to see a variety of fresh vegetables at reasonable cost.
One can have a look of Cheese making process through glass window – various types of fresh cheese, all very tasty!
It is open all the seven days! Good for shopping too.

This is a great park on, especially on a clear day. There are nice loops for a leisurely stroll or to burn some calories. A great play ground is there and if you have elderly or handicapped folks want to just take a short walk its perfect, no hills or gravel to navigate.

If you visit Seattle area you must stop by Bellevue Square (aka Bell Square) It’s in Bellevue at the Corner on NE 8th and Bellevue Way, from Big anchors to small shops you won’t go wanting for something you can’t find. iPhone, A&F clothing, Tesla, Ben Bridge Jewlery aka Rolex watches, even a (cough) Microsoft shop. Spend an afternoon and treat yourself. Best shopping spree in America.

We rented a canoe at Enatai beach and paddled into Merced Slough. It was a peaceful, easy canoe ride with my kids. We saw frogs, turtles, blue herons, ducks and jumping fish. It was just long enough that we didn't get too tired of paddling. The cost was about $15 for 1 hour. They helped get the canoe in the water and we didn't even have to get wet.

Any child involved in STEM classes needs to go to this museum. Leave yourself about 2.5 to 3 hours to see everything. I’m not a science person so it was all fascinating to me what goes into getting these huge aircraft off the ground. Very interesting and informational movies and the docents are exceptionally informative. Great experience for a rainy day in Seattle.
