My husband is the knowledgeable wine person in our home, but I share his love of Dancin Winery. He is a pinot noir lover, and it doesn't get any better than Dancin in the Rogue Valley for him. We are wine club members, and we always feel like we are treated as special guests by Dan and Cindy. Love to go to dinner there and have a pizza and glass of good wine. An exceptional place!

When you step into the train park, your mind will be transformed back to the old times. A much simpler time. You can even have a message sent over Morse code from one park location to another. You can ride the miniature trains around the miles of groomed track that shows how beautiful and majestic the Pacific Northwest is. This is a very special place to all the locals, as we rode these trains growing up and now it's time to let our kids enjoy.

Applegate Lake

A reservoir which offers many outdoor activities.

Reviewed By amtaxidermy - Medford, Oregon

Lived in the Valley throughout my life. Upon a recent trip up to Applegate. We found the place littered with trash and disrespectful people with bad attitudes in different locations @ the lake. If you are seeking a clean, friendly, respectful environment. I am sad to say. The Applegate Lake area falls short of a good experience. A group of @ middle aged males, approached us in a threatening manner, as we were picking up litter, about one of the vacant campground areas. As we were ones, that were doing the wrong. Quite alarming at what we came across. Be aware out there, should you go.
