Riverside State Park

Pretty park great for camping, motorcycle and ATV riding, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and horseback riding.

I love Spokane; a big part of that love is the Riverside State Park that's smack dab in the middle of it. The Spokane & Little Spokane River's add to complete the terrific ambiance. With the Bi-centinial Bike/Sport trail Starting in Nine Mile Falls.... going through park and town.... ending in Cour d'Alene and further. You should see the Motor Bike/All terrain area they have!!! ....and then the Horse riding trails. You couldn't visit a better or more perfect place for all types of folks.

Cat Tales Zoological Park

Reviewed By Janet F - Kelso, Washington

I was in Spokane with a friend and she wanted to go to this place. So we paid our entrance fee and went. I was appalled at the tiny enclosures. I was sorry I paid anything to help this place stay in business. I thought it was a sanctuary where they took in rescued animals, but they breed tigers. It all seemed very sad and definitely not in the best interest of the animals. (I choose July 2016 as my time of visit although it was probably two years earlier. I did look online and make sure they do still breed tigers before posting this review.) I wish I could pick ZERO for "recommended length of visit".

We took a drive out here while on a visit to Spokane. A short drive from downtown Spokane and such a cute place! We ate lunch at the bistro where the food was delicious but the service was very, very slow and a bit confusing with calling out numbers. Also the young lady serving food to our table did not bring forks she just pointed us to where they are instead of bringing them. Other than slow service, we enjoyed our meal and found the gift shop to be very cute with a nice little wine selection. If we find ourselves back in the area this will be a definite must stop for us!

I have been to several wineries in the Pacific Northwest and have hand picked the wines we sell in my Restaurant for over ten years. Townshend has never disappointed me, either in their product or their business dealings with me. The tastings are much more personal and the knowledgable staff is very helpful and never too busy to answer questions or make suggestions. Their red blends particularly are amazing, the Vortex is one of the best values I have ever found and the T3 is outstanding for just a few dollars more. Their "table" wines are bottom shelf pricing with middle shelf palatableness for the lower price Wine aficionado.

Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox

The Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox is located in beautiful downtown Spokane, WA, in the heart of the Lilac City's entertainment district. The Theater opened in 1931, as a 2300-seat movie theate. The recently renovated Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox, which seats approximately 1600 today, has promoted the arts, enthralling and entertaining old and young across the decades. Today, the theater exemplifies Spokane's rich and vibrant performing arts scene, housing the Spokane Symphony, as well as acclaimed entertainers, dance troupes, musical acts, and theater talents.

Reviewed By Alverda3 - Spokane, Washington

I've attended several shows in this theater and always marvel at the architecture and wonderful acoustics, but I'm not going to sugar coat this: the seats are almost worse than being stuck in the economy section of an airplane. Granted, there are better seats in the wider aisle rows, but the majority of seating is tight and uncomfortable, mainly because of the lack of leg room. Taller, larger sized individuals would probably feel sandwiched in. Still, it's worth coming here for a performance that you really want to see.

Cute house filled with gifts, home décor, jewelry and more. It is also has a separate building for weddings and special occasions. The women that run it are lots of fun and
engaging. They have U-Pick when in season. Greenbluff is 20 minutes north of Spokane and a wonderful place to spend a day in the country. There are many farms for U-pick plus other gift shops. There is more information at greenbluffgrowers.com

Have you ever been to a place where they over regulate you at every turn? This is one of...MoreWe want our guest to have a wonderful time, and as a licensed winery we make safe drinking of guests who are driving a priority. Twilight Cider Works

Reviewed By 8ric - Tampa, Florida

Nice tasting room with a friendly :"sommelier" to assist in the tasting. Their tasting room is small but has a very welcoming and cozy feel to it. The selection of ciders were very good not too sweet which is to my liking. The location is in the start of the Greenbluff area where there will be many more orchards in this farming community of WA just outside of Spokane.

I would pair this visit with the other farms/orchards that are in the area and make it full day.
